our singers and actresses in America do far worse things that Ai did lol. i don't think she was THAT scandalous. look at like Lindsay Lohan. far worse lol.
@michelle2008g The problem is that she was an idol... her scandals weren't that bad, but it gave her an image that was apparently considered usuitable for children, although there would probably have been no problems with an adult audience.
sometimes u just wonder if that sort of reputation followed her around, you know? like, she was "so bad" before, is she still a bad influence now? and shit like that, but i think the way things are going are just fine cause she's done an album, she's selling photobooks, DVDs, and stars in movies xD so im like, super proud of her succes!

alright, she was a part of the idol group Morning Musume, and as an idol you can't have a boyfriend and well, be an idol, a model citizen. she was caught smoking like, twice, so she got fired from morning musume. She was also caught dating a 30-year-old or something like that. After morning musume she started posing semi-nude in photobooks but she's trying to keep singing too :) Go to her wiki, all the info u need is there :P
@TheFearfullAngels no it's not! she's a very strong and independent woman; she doesn't look back at her past, she just moves on, and even if she did she learns from all those experiences and really doesn't care because she's just trying to live her life :) i admire her for her courage!
@DigitalDaifuku True, but i'm sure noone in H!P wanted her to leave yet. It's sad to see such a great singer leave so suddenly after that incident, But Kago Ai is getting back on her feet now. (So happy i won her signature on a phone pouch in New Jersey and got to shake hands with her..And one of my favorite Idols~ <3)
@Pieeater23 That is so great to actually meet her! I hope she finds good fan support in the USA. Kago-chan should write a tell all book about her Mini Moni and MM days. I feel really badly for Kago-chan. I think she was wrongly mistreated by HIP. If they would have just suspended her for three months for smoking, and got her some counseling, instead of isolating her for a whole year, things may have been quite different.
