all those commenst about Hate being a behemoth clone or whatever.. thats total bullshit. If some of you had at least a tiny bit of musical knowledge , you'd clearly notice and hear that they have a different style (riffs , arrangements , breaks , and so on). Despite the fact that behemoths singer Nergal is a total weak-ass live and needs all those studio effects while recording his "praised" voice ..... Hate is definitely the better , the more original , the more non-mainstream of those polishs

@SchOrlEscHecK He's not a total weak ass live come on. He still got a strong voice live compared to others and Orion ( bass player ) takes up the vocals good too. I agree tho that Hate backs up their VOCALS much better live but behemoth is really fucking good live band still.

@SchOrlEscHecK Behemoth are weak live compared to their latest albums.. On albums they're amazing almost unbelieveable good.. live they only play a few of the "tough" song the rest is from their crappy early albums.

And to give Hate some credit here, how can they be a clone of Behemoth since Hate has been playing death metal since they started in the mid 90es?!?! Behemoth has only been playing death metal for less than 10 years. So not really a compirison that do anyone justice.

@Fukkhead101 the early behemoth albums are way better. Evangelion is the worst output they've had for years! thelema 6 , satanica and apostasy for example are by far the best behemoths albums , perhaps demigod too but there are enough lame songs on it.

@SchOrlEscHecK I've seen behemoth live, he doesnt need those "studio" effects. No band can play 100% accurately to every song ever recorded to perfection. Two amazing bands with amazing features, weaknesses, and strengths. Get over your self.

@Saito906 I wouldnt necessarily say that they "came out" before Behemoth, rather, they "formed" before Behemoth. Both bands released their first demos in 1992. Hate formed in 1990 and Behemoth in 1991.

They've been playing for a while already. I think they're somehow better than behemoth, but they also went little worse when the've started painting themselves and try to be so dark as behemoth. Try to listen to Victims, more death than black metal shit ;)

Sounds really like behemoth - but that is good, I love it! The only thing I am missing in those crossing styles are breakdowns. Would love to have them - must be really intense, when you go from atmospheric, fast riffs and blast beats to an epic breakdown black metal style!
