  • Wait, wait, wait...can that 'Oh, John', 'Oh, Marsha' soap opera show be a reference to Stan Freberg's radio sketch that showed the ups and downs of a relationship simply by having two people, John and Marsha, say each other's names? ...Awesome!

  • Oh, the memories-- though the music wasn't quite this unpleasant on my Tandy 1000SL/2 :) I circumvented horrible PC beeps by starting with a Tandy and then buying a Sound Blaster before moving on to a more standard PC.

Though the VGA remake has splendid music-- I was just listening to the MT32 score and that prompted me to find the original EGA version. Nice upload!

There was a black boy who lived down the road from me who used to type 'ken sent me' to open the door, because I couldn't type it fast enough before he closed the shutter and would have to knock again lol. • I loved all the Sierra games, but Larry was great. I loved the mystery games and the

role playing was the best. I was so upset when it all disappeared.

  • That's weird... I used to play this game when I was young and loved it. Now that it became obsolete I decided to play other games.

But when I see this video about it I get a "strange" feeling in my gut. What is that?

  • That strange feeling, my freind, is called nostalgia.

  • wtf????? how could you beat the slot machine??? i spended hours on the blackjack table!!!

  • @fsayestaran And to think my sister and I wasted hours mastering blackjack when we could have beat the slot machine. What a shame.

  • You can save your game whenever you want.. just save it every time you win. and reload if you don't. takes like a minute loloolol

  • Al Lowe is a genius.

  • I remember when i finish to play the entire game, it was sweet hahaha

  • I emailed the guy who created the series, Al Lowe.

He is a very friendly guy and replied to me right away. If you want to, look him up on google, I am sure he will be happy to receive some fan mail (since he got screwed over royally by Sierra and didn't get anything apart from his salary, as well as witnessed his character get murdered after he got fired).

I am sure he will appreciate it, and you will probably enjoy getting a reply back from him!

  • the point of the game was to get some action....and he meets the weirdest chicks

  • i played this on my atari st...

  • That's awesome, my old IBM XT didn't have color as nice as this, in fact my title credits were all B&W

  • that was my first video game! Awesome. That arrouses very funny memories! The 'adult test' at the beginning of the game for ex. The game is SO great LMAO!

  • sickpack: It was my first game too and really funny- i typed in all possible things and laughed over reactions. Although it is complete in english i enjoyed every second with this game (iam german). Perfect and great memories.

  • i remember that drunk guy in the back of leftys saying 'geeeze those pointy toed shoes hurt' when u walk into him lol

  • OMG!!! HAHAHaA I remember playing this with my cousins as a kid....we knew it was an "adult" game and my uncle would let us play...I also remember that stupid quiz and we would go upstairs as ask all the adults for the answers...brings back soooo many memories!!

  • i was able to answer those questions.

  • I remember the quiz too. The funny thing is all you had to do was press Ctrl+Q or Alt+X(can't remember for sure now) and you would skip the quiz! The game would start.

  • I start the game, but I cant read anything how do you get past that?

  • I nostalgia tripped

  • Can i download it?

  • yes

  • Where?

  • i use to play this with my friends. we were straight girls but the thrill was that the game seemed so high-tech (lol looks so primitive now) and was curious to find out where he'd go.

we loved the way larry walked and would sometimes set him at different speeds.

we'd pretend we were 18 (or 80) and took the quiz on several attempts---it was so annoying when i got "hey you're a kid" but the questions were repetive after awhile so we'd figure out the answers

  • How to play this game od XP?
