Is a short field take-off needed and/or recommended for CDK? Do you recommend any good places to eat on the Key? How do you get into town from the airfield? Thinking about heading over from Jackosonvile in my 172 this fall when it gets a little cooler out. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Lovely lady, she listens to the ctaf to know when someone is coming in. We had a great time and she gave us a little tour of the area. Theres a picture of her in one of the back issues of Pilot Getaways magazine that I was just looking through.
