Amazing video. I visited French Polynesia on march 2010 but i only practiced snorkel unfortunately i was bitten by a medusa so it was not a nice experience for me but going down there would have been one of the greatest experience ever, thank you for showing all that "world" over there.

i'm tahitian, and i've gone back there 2 years ago for vacation. It's a beautiful place to visit i just love going to the beautiful beaches everyday. French Polynesia is a beautiful place to visit to.

But if the humanity continues destroying the world (with polution, killing animals and plants,etc) the sea level will rise and your children will never see Thaiti and many islands . (At least not outside the ocean)

@nurtester1 its inevitable that the sea levels will rise, regardless of our own additions to the atmosphere. I agree with you about the killing of animals though, Pandas in China, Dolphins and whales in Japan etc...we need to stop all that bs, I can live off only eating meat twice/three times a week and be more than healthy.

I made a little mistake: I should have written that Tahiti will just get a lot of smaller (not only because of the rise of the sea level but also because the islands sink like 1m per year)But It will take about 300 years or even far more (depending how far the humianity will pollute the evenvirement) that Tahiti will completely dissapear because of the big mountains. But there are facts: Due the humainity about 75 species of plants and animals daily die out on planet earth.

I have seen lots of pictures of Maui and I really dont think it would be comparable with Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Tahaa etc.... French Polynesia is legendary for its culture and unbelieveable beauty... Its as clsoe to paradise as I have ever been. You should go there if you get a chance, I think its about a 5 hour flight from Hawaii to Tahiti?
