Probably a KTA 600. If I could see the heads I could tell you for sure. 1150 cu in. Avaliable in 450hp, 525hp,or 600hp back in the late 70s.....for real.

Alo of job done to get 600 on a big cam? we have a 89 t600 444 cummins turned up to 500 only changing pistons & rods

I have 79 W900 with 550 HP in order to to 600 to 800 you need a high lift cam bigger injectors and fuel pressure raise my pump is set at 300 psi@ 2400rpm videos coming soon

Ya buddy! I love this truck. I always smile seeing it run up and down our roads, along with the Vintage trucks. That road up there ain't no joke either. It makes me wish I had a jake in my rigs. The pickups brakes always smell hot coming out of there. Keep them coming Jeff.
