Basically, you can control Sam with the D-Pad, when you use the controller, or with the Arrow Keys when using a PC.

@hampus745 a ga derp! it is a point and click adventure game after all, but I'm fairly sure you can use the wasd keys or the arrow keys as well, you can also use the d-pad if you hook up a controller

I think it's good that the series is evolving in the gameplay department since in most adventure games once you know all the answers there's no replay value unless you just want to hear the jokes again.

Seriously though, most Lucasarts adventure games haven't aged well and I think it's important to embrace evolution or else we would be still playing our Atari-esque 4 bit blocky looking and musicless games.

@DeltaHunterL I don't think the item combining have been such a problem with Telltales games, you can't just click around, you really need to think. An dall I want is a mouse only game, simply for the sake of it :)

I still think one episode should include the handle piece to be combined with the hand with a mention of "This brings back memories".

I agree that I am glad that they are redoing the series. I wish some of the environments were more explorable (i.e. who wouldn't want to see the names of the products thadt Bosco sells). I also wish that the games were longer. Other than that I think they are doing a great job.
