I highly doubbt the develpoer of elive would start using someone's (lesser) ubuntu customization, over his own work.

Why ?

1) Elive gives me all of need/want

2) I like Debian, no ubuntu

3) Ebuntu not exist, and also if exists, Im more happy on Elive

1)Its free and open source

2)Try Ubuntu, its very user friendly, and has a great community

3)Sorry I spelled that wrong, its Elbuntu now, and it has'nt been released yet, but change is good, plus its a live CD just like Elive, and Elbuntu is going to be supported by Canonical, just like Kubuntu and Xubuntu are.

1) yes, is free and open source, how Elive

2) more userfriendly than Elive ? i have tried it 2-3 times but im not satisfied at all, allways, everybody uses what like's more

3) Elive is supported by my pleasure, that's more big than the Canonical support

1)I never said you had to use it

2)At least try it, I always think looking at distros is fun

3)They're both Debian based, (as is most now adays)

If you want to try Elive, you can try a development release to has all the fast downloads, anyways, on the next 0.5.2 release this game are added directly (no need to apt-get install it)
