He liked the trailer. You can tell.  He's hurt to not be involved, but he thought it looked good.

i dont think shatner could pull it off. only because hes nearing 80 years old. if he came into the movie, he couldnt do all the stunts he used to do.

i really really hope that they have him in the sequel and since the timeline has been altered. JJ cant use the argument that kirk is dead .. since the timeline is changed and all

William Shatner was a great Captain Jim Kirk. But I can't see him playing Jim Kirk in this new Star Trek movie. He could've played Jim Kirk's grandfather or even great uncle. Who knows? If he hasn't seen the movie, I'd recommend he watch it. Trailers only tell so much.
