I didn't start watching this until halfway through Adrian's pregnancy and after constant nagging from my wife, so I didn't know too much about the first 60 or so episodes. So I watched them on Netflix to catch up on everything and I say that Ricky and Amy is a much better pair then Ben and Amy. Regardless though, it took me only halfway through the first episode to realize that this show is full of complete idiots, both old and young, Ben probably being the dumbest.

So when I first began watching this show I always thought people were crazy to think Ricky and Amy were the perfect couple. I mean Ricky, even though I loved him, was so out control and unstable. I always figured Ricky and Adrian would be a good couple if they could settle down. Then I gave up on them after the whole thing with Ben. After seeing this scene though I really am a fan of the Ricky/Amy pairing!

I love how they were able to have a mature and healthy conversation together. A lot of what we've seen in the show of them is angst and anger instead of seeing them as people. It's obvious that they like, or even love each other, because no one has sex with someone they can't stand at all. One of my favorite moments is when Amy tells Ricky that if he wants to be with her he'll stop sleeping around, and he looks at her all seriously and says, "I'll stop doing that." I don't know why,but I love it
