My puppy had been socialized with chickens, while my friends had NOT. When my friends puppy came over to play, it killed a chicken while my puppy simply watched. What if the chicken was a child? SOCIALIZE UR PUPPY! It's good fun ;D

I must be lucky. Our pup loves to be around other dogs and people. Pretty good for 9 weeks old. He was perfectly well behaved around the other people/dogs when we went to get his shots (The car ride was a rough, though LOL).
