Didnt over pay for it but spent way to much money and went way over budget. We live in tampa florida so flipping is fun all year round. Thanks for you vids and Im doing contracting now for the goverment so when Im done with that Ill also put some vids on here for people to see. Thanks for the motivation your vids given me. Good flippin luck.
Nice vid guys. I got out of the military about a year ago and we (3 guys and me) decided to go togather and flip a house. It was the first one I ever done and they had done one about a year ago before the one I helped on (Eden). With Eden it couldnt have went better we went about 5 grand over budget and came in on time. It stayed on the market for 5 days. The first house though was about the opposite. The one I didnt help on. This vid is exactly what happend to them.
was going to feature some of the real San Antonio disasters. Some were even dne ny a "mentor' who was charging students big money and bringing them here from out of state to lose their capital. I decided not to do it because alot of locals read our blog and I wouldnt want it to get back to the investors.
i like that case study of a "flip gone bad"...we also watch our competitors screw things up and take great inventory. It bums me out becuase they dont sell and not only do they take great fixers by overpaying, they add to the inventory problem. great vid.
I share your pain exactly. We run into this problem too often...novice (and veteran) flippers inexplicably overpaying for properties. It inflates prices for everyone. If you run across any interesting "flips gone bad," I'd love to watch a video on it. So many stories out there.
Great video that you have added with a different twist! Very educational! Keep em' coming!
