Georgia Southern's Flexbone from 1999-2001 what the best Flexbone offense in the last 30 years in college football. Just read up on the stats from Paul Johnson's team that year going to three straight national champ games and dominating just about everyone they played!
haha yeah the Nebraska triple option gameplan that got swamped by Florida State and Miami and ultimately led the coaches at NU to switch methods? yeahhhh...speed from the southeast killed that. It all started with the 1990 fiesta bowl, 41-17.
Man, I love some option football. I long for the old days of the Oklahoma and Nebraska wishbone option battles in the old Big 8 Conference. Jamelle Holloway or Tommie Frazier pitching it out while on a dead sprint.. good stuff. I'm not a big fan of this new-fangled spread 4 wide, throw it all over the field offense that's so popular in college football right now.
i would like to see a powerhouse team run this playbook.. what team could yal see running the triple option? i say Oregon, UT, Florida

0:30 That's trap, not option. The back-side guard pulls if you don't believe me.

Is it any wonder why Army is doing so bad? They no longer run an old school offense! GO NAVY: Keeping it old school and still beating the new school.
