I was dark a dark brown before I am naturally a very light brunette but I gradually lightened mine to golden brown by highlighting it with blonde streaks
by box dye,USE 2dye my hair dark brown every 4weeks.i then dyed it light brown with golden tint- made my roots go GINGER.then dyed it dark brown to get rid of ginger roots.since then ive grown it out- was a year ago i last dyed it.now my hair half light brown(natural color)with a suttle ginge bit in middle(where i tryed 2go light)n 2wards bottom is dark(where still aint grown out)had enough of growin it out n wana go a suttle blonde.what would hairdressers do 2do this?adivce x

@TheSpunkypunk anything that takes colour your hair contains lighteners and peroxide. in other words, bleach. its just not directly called 'bleach' on the box.
im naturly brunette and i dyed my hair blonde 3 x to make sure it dont went orange, when its grow out again, just bleach your hairoots and leave you hairlengt alone, its more healthy for your hair and i wash my hair about 3-4 times at week and not was it everyday:) thats my tips!
oh mine was EXTREMELY orange. It looked like a lions mane.
hahah, but with the sun and everything, it's best to just leave it as is. It doesn't take long for the sun to pretty much bleach it blonde. If you try dyeing it again it will just mess up your hair for nothing :p so just let the sun take care of it.
My hair was really orange, but when I dyed my hair back black and then went to a professional she fried my head. Like, I could feel my head boiling. Now my hair is falling out, but you might find a better hair stylist.

if you want to get color out NEVER use bleach! Use a color abstractor like "provona"! it doent damage your hair, and it works cherry!

if you have black hair... always go to a professional to get your hair blonde... using supermarket hair dye will just turn your hair orange..
