You need to join the Yahoo group "Early Cadillac". The group is for the 1903 to 1914 single and 4 cylinder Cadillacs. One you have joined, post your question and you will recieved lots of suggestions.
Yes, the idle was high. I eventually traced it to too much intake lift at minimum throttle. The engine had variable valve timing and the intake lever cam needed some dremel work. Also, with the chain off there was no transmission drag to slow it down. Check my other video of the chassis test drive.
