So if one's DNA reflects 'female' or if ones DNA reflects 'male' ...and for WHATEVER reasons, the person prefers to go into 'denial' and 'believe' something contrary to what is factual, then the believing (thinking)of that person is "disordered", out of order via a belief. I don't see that as an "illness" nor a "disease", but rather a mental "disorder". STRAIGHTening out the disordered thinking usually requires deep, long-term psychotherapy.
Honestly, men who claim that skinny girls look disgusting and they prefer bigger girls aren't much better than normal guys, because in the end they're still saying, "I think girls should look like X!" "You're stupid. Girls who look like Y are more attractive!" Date whoever you want and f*** whoever you want. But the secret to ending eating disorders is to teach women to be healthy, to have self esteem, and for men to ACCEPT THEM FOR WHO THEY ARE. They're human beings, not f***ing dolls.
I hate how instead of showing sympathy and a desire to learn more, people mock others and say that their problems are nothing and that they should get over it. It's true, there are people starving in Africa, but that doesn't invalidate the suffering of people with anorexia, and raising awareness of it saves lives. A life saved is a life saved. If your best friend is crying because he broke up with his girlfriend, you'll comfort him for sure. You won't compare his suffering to Africa.

What you're saying is what someone who thinks rationally about food and weight is saying, but peopple with eating disorders do not have that rational thought process when it comes to how much they eat or weigh. It's a very complicated web of messed up thoughts.

the blunt truth is, people tend to look better IN CLOTHES with a slim figure. of course, some people take it too far, and start to become bulimic and so on. Im not familiar on anorexia, so i cant make a comment on that.
a slim figure does not mean anorexic, which is what some people believe. a slim figure is a healthy bf%, nothing below 19-25% for women.

when i say a slim figure looks good in clothes, that does not mean a higher bf% will look worse. all women are beautiful

It doesn't matter how much u want to eat, the little demon in your head keeps telling you how ugly, how fat, how gross, how disgusting your are..it hurts. Kinda sad to see both anorexia person eat Japanese foods(sashimi,miso soup and salad,which probably has around 200~300kcal total) and obesity person eat massive amount of McDonald's foods.They know they are eating wrong things but they cannot control it.
