  • Great stuff. I love to see machines in perfect sync :)

  • sounds amazing!

  • Loving the discussion on Synthtopia....

Thanks for your advice about the midimobilzer, it was quickly sold and a shiny new iRig Midi purchased, keep up the good work.

  • @mutantmoments coremidi is definitely the way to go now! our little midi machine app still supports the older line 6 midi api, but new apps won't be able to. there's also an app called "midibridge" that can help bridge between the original mobilizer and apps that only speak coremidi for people that already own it. but yeah, going forward it will be coremidi compatible interfaces all the way, so anyone buying an iOS midi interface should make sure it works with coremidi.

  • Really impressive! Disbelievers should see this before they comment on iOS instruments. Your work is the proof. Thanks for the vid.

  • Right on. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Awesome vid! How is monotribe sync'd via irig midi? Did you "hack" in midi to the monotribe? Nonetheless a great advert for core midi and iOS in general!

  • @freesoulvw thanks! I'm using a Kenton Pro Solo MIDI->CV converter to convert the MIDI clock from FunkBox to the gate/sync that the Monotribe wants to see. You can see the Kenton in the upper left, the blue box. A groovebox or drum machine that has MIDI wouldn't need the Kenton, you could just go straight from the iRig.
