I´m from germany and sometimes I understand the comments worse as they are. And If you wan´t to say that the shouting doesn´t fit to the movement of his mouth I´m the same opinion.
i think its important not to slag others bands,i have been a maiden fan for 25 years but i love to explore bands like nightwish, pain, even slipknot ect,each man to his own but be open minded,i am not a fan of throat singing but it is usually backed by some amazingly skilled playing and killer riffs so you have to appreciate the positives . stand united metal brothers and denounce the candypop that the industry is rolling out into our kids minds at the moment.
Omg i just hate this kind of vocal (and musica but whatever). And I hate even more that stupid fat dark emos fans of bands like this go on saying that pop singers sucks and stuff. This in not the good and old rock, this is some kind of brain murder!

I love Trivium and Metallica, but I think why people say so much shit is because of how different like their old shit is compared to like shit since The Crusade, and because you have to admit even if you would die for Matt, that he is trying a lil' too hard to sound like James Hetfield.
I don't understand why people say things like "true metal fans like ascendancy better." WTF? Shogun is more complex and is way better instrumentally, plus i love the 7 string guitars.

He may not have played as intencely as Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, Travis Smith, Joey Jordison, or many others but Lars Ulrichs drumming was very unique for the time that he was playing. at the time no other main stream metal offered that kind of intensity. as of today people have passed him up but just remember that hes the one makeing over a million a year being a half assed drummer... not you :p

Matt Heafy Is an amazing singer, hands down. Trivium doesn't get enough credit, and that really disappoints me. They are amazing and really unique, yet people bitch about them.

Shogun is one of the best straight metal records I've ever heard. Imo it was really a great step to go back to the roots, compared to this piece of shit called The Crusade. The song and video are great too, got a really good message!

Shogun is one of the best straight metal records I've ever heard. Imo it was really a great step to go back to the roots, compared to this piece of shit called The Crusade. The song and video are great too, got a really good message!

I don't understand why people judge Trivium so harshly, if you think about it no one has created new music in like 200 years, so why does trivium get so much shit. Also, yes the went main stream for one album but how many bands realize their mistakes and go back to their roots even when the lead singer ripped a vocal chord and didn't want to.... jeez give them some damn respect!

@Andydude9293 That the problem with the music industry and it's fans...mainstream should be today's best music, not shoving down are throats... but when one of our favorite bands go mainstream we should appreciate it, not bash them. Mainstream means success and means you're bringing your music yo a larger audience then ever, so when your favorite bands go mainstream you gotta support it. I work in a radio station, the more mainstream my bands become the more i get to listen to them at work

People today don't actually create music, they just use what people already made a long time ago. They are the people who actually invented new music as they created it.
