I have a graduate degree in economics from Chicago university and used to vote republican. I now vote democrat BECAUSE I understand economics. Your suggestion that we have to reshape all social policy for the highest earners in society is bleak and anti-american. In Greenspan's book which I strongly recommend, he talk about how he met every week for hours with Clinton and received phone calls with questions and understand. During Bush's office, he never had a meeting with him over 3 minutes.
