  • Doing a compression test is actually exactly the same on a 4 stroke, keep kicking or cranking until the needle quits jumping

  • those tires are junk, i had them on a 185 i had and as soon as u hit some mud or snow they get caked and turn into racing slicks lol

  • @xacdcx7 trailpros suck!!

  • @MohadibTheHorrible yep, i like knobbys for the trikes i think their the best you can get for a trike, just my opinion

  • 85,86 250R IS ONE OF THE BEST PERFORMANCE VEHICLES MADE . IF YOU ARE SCARED OF THEM STAY ON YOUR BANSHEE.

  • hey when she died did it just bog out

because i have a cr125 and i keep getting black oil on my plug and it only starts for 5 or 6 secongs

  • head gasket

  • so what ended up being the problem??

  • Did you run it too lean?

  • dude you just left your atv out in the middle of nowhere or is that your property? suprised nobody stole it!

  • whare can i find a tester

  • Here is a thought.....junk that ancient piece of shit and get a new rig....

  • anyone who jjunks a 250r is a fucking idiot.

  • They're only dangerous if you dont know how to ride one, yeah the roll easier, so you compensate for it...its jackasses like you that almost kill themselves on them, think theyre all badass and roll.. fuck you you dont know shit.

  • You are a knuckle dragging dumb ass....I have forgotten more about riding and racing ATVs than you will ever know!!!

  • Allow me to add another thumbs down to your sensationalist comment you fauck tard.

  • you want the carb removed so the engine can suck as much air as it can.

  • yup ok dude.

  • i assume you've done a compression test ur self THE PROPER WAY? If not keep ur mouth shut.

you want to open that carb (or throttle body on other engines) up as much as u can in other words u gotta floor the gas when you're cranking on it OR remove the carb so the engine can get as much air as it can. You gotta fill that piston up as close as 100% as possible. It will work with the carb closed but it will take much longer.

There is a reason why you gotta stop the fuel and the spark plug.

  • and how is this relavent to anything i said?

  • ok you were talking about a 250r three wheeler...yeah they are pretty rare around alabama...there are a good bit of big reds out here though...fun to ride and work on..but hard to sell

  • Ahh, BIg Reds own too. Rig Red was the first one I ever wrecked. You got any 2 strokes fastgmc? Where in Alabama you at? I go to Grove Hill sometimes. Maybe we can get together and ride.

  • na i dont have any two strokes only rode one in my whole life, a yz250 it was pretty fast. i live in clanton that is in central alabama, i havent been or heard of grove hill. just hit me up when your coming down

  • can you do a compression test for four strokes?

  • yes

  • I have not compression tested a 4 stroke, but I would think it would be a bit more complex. You would have to get the piston in the right position on the right stroke (compression or exhaust) to make sure the valves are closed. 2 strokes, having reed vavles, don't need this type of setup before the test.

  • nope same exact thing, just keep cranking it and see how far up it goes.
