in the 70's scientists were SURE that another ice age was upon us. It's so funny that the idea of global warming started with the oil crisis 30 years ago.

That the Earth's temperature is rising is part of a normal natural cicle, that has been going for centuries, that's why they before thought there was a new ice age.

Climate offsets aren't going to save us from destroying the Earth. We need to reduce our consumption of resources. The problem is massive consumerism that leads to deforestation, mining, and countless other processes that create environmental problems. But the climate change science is not fake and has not suffered from these attacks. It has been going strong for some 25 years and its advocates are not backing down one bit. A colder easte than Christmas is exactly the kind of occurrance that scientists predict that we may see more of in the near future.
