That simply is not true and THAT is why 99.9 percent of the youtube users are so upset about it.

I agree that the new format is horrible but I actually left myspace. And now it's losing out to facebook because everyone is leaving it. youtube is hardly immune to that as well. This is what happened with new coke. People didn't start drinking pepsi. They just stopped drink coke all together.

The only thing good about the new format is it's better than current people's pages that have fonts the same color as their transparent background image.

I don't really mind what the hell Youtube do anymore ( I've just gotten used to all there changes i.e. I gave up) but....I personally think there should be a vote system if anything. Other that that keep it the same as it was!

I'm actually a fan of the Beta channels. You can now actually comment and click links from the profile, and the featured video does not automatically play now.

I don't agree with the whole Hulutube thing though. I think that whole thing was taking a small thing and blowing it up out of proportion. Google is a company that needs to make a profit.

But I have to agree. People need to suck it up. However, I don't think Microsoft is an offender. Apple just doesn't make major changes.

if your not willing to pay to have it exactly like it was before with not improvments and get other to agree you just have to suck it up and accept it.

I think YT designers should keep the new profile layout as optional.

Personally, it doesn't really matter to me whether the change is forced or not. It's something I can deal with.

I do kinda like the beta channels. I don't think they look so bad. But that's just me.

People complain about all change. Not to say it's unwarranted; just saying that at least a good handful of people do it anyways. I'm not happy about this change either, buuuuut apart from to my best friend and girlfriend(who I'm in constant contact with), I havn't really complained. And even to them, it was a two minute conversation that didn't continue later on.
