  • Glad to see ur a little close to a happy ending Just saw the bad times, and glad to see this update here.

    Good luck xx

  • my horse started rearing and nearly went over backwards with me on the road, and it turned out he had kissing spines. His was so severe however that he had to go straight into surgery. Sadly he has now had to be retired as he was just not coping with the work again. Good luck with jay, really lovely willing horse, fingers crossed (Y) xx

  • following you and jay from the start makes me see how hard youve worked with him. not giving up must have taken some going, and although this is heart breaking theres a light at the end. hope his op goes well xxxxx

  • wow sdo weird, this is like the same thing that happened to me. myhorse chelfsey nver liekd people but loved me would jump the sky and run like the wind, then she became agerrisve when we would ride, alot of bucking and rearing and more. and we dont know what it is.

  • i'm so pleased that you've found a diagnosis, i've followed your video's of jay from the start, and now i have a horse with similar behaviour i can relate to everything you say. i hope his operation goes well :)

  • I'm so pleased you've finally found out what's wrong. EVerything crossed for the operation, and I really take my hat off to you Lucille, for never giving up. Not many people could have done that xx

  • i;m glad you found out what the problem is and hopefully he'll be back to the old jay soon :)

It;s not your fault, ignore anyone who leaves shitty comments, there just jeaulous. This proves what a bond you have because if you hadn;t tursted your instinct who knows what might have happened And it shows how well you know each other, you obsviuoly know him inside out to know somethingwas up with him, good for you xx

  • glad you found out what was wrong and can now start fixing it!! how long will he be out of work? i really hope the operation goes well!! i know how you feel... since july charly been not right... and the other day i found out he has arthritis in both his hocks + has anothr prob with his fornt legs old injury and his cannon joint. so hes having xrays and nerve blocking next week but he wont be doing as much hard work :( so hes going to be my bro's horse and i have 2 get a new horse for comps:(xx

  • Im so happy and sad for you at the same time! Im glad that you proved all them ppl that u were right and knew ur horse better than that, but at the same time sorri that he has a kissing spine! you are lucky to have caught it early enough thou, i know lots of peopl who can't have their ponies operated on coz of age :(

    But fingers crossseddd!XXX

  • my horsey had kissing spines too ,you have to work a lot over his back so he gets good backmuscles =) good luck for the future

  • jayneeeddd :D

i may have cried a teeensy little smidge at this hahaha

  • i'm so glad u've finally found the reason for his "behavioural problem" u've been through so much together, and u tried ur very best to find out what wrong. i no u probs feel crap about the fact u didn't realise he had kissing spine but at the end of the day, u'd done all u could, u'd had the vet out already, it was just unlucky it wasn't spotted earlier. Basically i'm saying try not to beat urself up about and it wasn't/isn't your fault. Really hope operation goes well xxx

  • omg that is so sad ! the same happened to me, my horse all of a sudden started bucking - every1 told me it was BAD behaviour and to "beat it out of her !" i refused and went through the same obvious procedures as yourself ( dentist, vet, farrier) but then found out from a phisio she had a bad back ( not kissing spine tho ! ) ( shes ok now :D ) thank god i didnt "beat it out of her " im so sorry to here about his problem but im so happy your getting treatment for it and helping him through ! x x

  • aww w i feel so sorry for him.. :( so many horses have kissing spines i's awful x x

  • aw im so glad you found whats wrong with him , u clearly love him very much and fingers crossed everything works out with the operation !

  • omg im so happy to hear you did not give up on him. *deep sigh of releaf*, Im happy that you have found out what the problem is, Im sorry for what it is, but goos luck with the surgery. Give him a huge hug and a pet for me. he is a lovely horse, Love the video good luck with everything

  • im glad you found the problem and im sure everything will work out

  • I am not going to lie, i started tearing up! Good for you! For not giving up and finding the root of the problem! This shows just how much you love this horse. So many people would just sell him and because of a problem like that they usually end up in a feedlot. But good job! In the pictures he put so much heart into his work, definatly a special horse. I love how the song fits so perfectly! dont worry about being sorry to him, what you are doing for him is worth do much more. Kudos to you!

  • Im so glad you got to the bottom of his problem! Now he will be getting closer to being the amazing horse he used to be :) Its good you didnt give up on him like people told you to

  • I am so glade you finally got to the bottom of this. Good luck with everything. :)

  • How old is he? is he a tb perchance? Because When Tbs are 5.. they r unbarable. But i just wanna tell you, this horse has so much heart... and i swear he will be the next rolex horse, if you take him or not.. which im sure you will!!

  • jay is awesome, its good you got to what was bothering him, welldone you! ha and thats myyy songg! haha i used that and love it. but anyway, fingers crossed.
