@aammaall1980 In case you didn't know, the iPad baseband is far from being convenient (Battery drainage, GPS not working). For those of us who don't want to go through the hassle of jailbreaking, downgrading, restoring and all that kind of stuff; Turbo Sim is a simple, quick, and easy way to unlock our iPhones.

i,m using this turbo sim for my blackberry 8520 curve etisalat coz all the 10 trials have been used and it cant be unlocked coz of its in a hardlock mode now...so dats y i,m using this turbo sim...and it works fine...but my problem is after few hours my bb shows no network?? it shows SOS on the network bars?? why is this happening? then after few hours of switching off n trials it again shows network but does the same after few hours?? plz help needed thnxx

you can soft unlock the iphone 2g on any firmware.

for 1.x use ZIPHONE

for 2.x use Quickpwn (windows/Mac) or Pwnagetool (Mac)

you may also need the 3.9 & 4.6 boot-loaders for the iPhone 2g software Unlock.

any way you must be jail-broken to unlock & for download links, my bud google is your best friend.

if you do a software unlock you well not need this terbo sim device, you well just be able to insert your simchip strait into your iPhone.

Yes I know, but I have never had a iphone before and I am a vivid pc user. However I will get a imac soon. But if I just bought this sim card, could I just put it in my iphone and use my sim and not have too unlock / jailbreak it because I would probally mess up my iphone if I tried that because I dont know how.

no you cant, unless you have an AT&T sim chip.

for any other sim, including one for T-Mobile you well need to unlock/jailbreak your iPhone.

its really easy to do, their is no reason to be afraid of doing so, and theirs a 0% chance of getting it bricked.

Oh, i'm probally going to use a prepaid att sim in it. But im getting two iphone 2gs. But im getting a used one and it just comes on and then goes back off, do you think it could be the battery? but ill probally jailbreak one of them for fun.

it helps it to go in more snuggly,(helps keep the pressure thats needed against the turbo sim,it has to be a very neat fit), as well as there being a chip on the turbo sim that can catch.
