I am sure that the school that you are "plugging" is excellent and i wholeheartedly agree that some programs and methods don't have the necessary rigor or oversight required and the field itself is under-regulated, which i do mention in the video. I hope you are not judging me as you have no idea of my background, experience or educational qualifications.
ONLY R.E.M.T's (REGISTERED Equine Massage Therapist) should be allowed to massage horse's..... For those of you who do the "weekend" courses and call yourself a certified equine massage therapist, might as well quit now before you do more damage to the horse.
There is only one school in the world where you can be thoroughly educated and qualified in equine massage therapy and thats at The D'Arcy Lane Institute of Equine Massage Therapy. google it!
There are so many areas to pursue if you love horses or animals, being a vet is not a sign of success, it is just one of the choices for a career. Don't let others get you down but rather believe in yourself and spend the time to explore what you want to do. The beauty of working with animals is that they are so grateful for your care - they don't care if you are a vet, a vet technician or a massage therapist (actually I think they like me for than their vets). Best wishes to you!
That's the cutest horse I've ever seen. :D And I'd like to go to college for this or something... since I'm too much of a "failure" to be an equine vet. People in my school are quite rude and downing..
Pretty horse. Love how the horse's eyelids are falling asleep and head droops relaxing. Cute. I know how they feel. Love Massages myself and looking into Massage school here in AZ as a career switch. maybe one day I will incorporate animal massage. I hear you have to be licensed to work on people 1st
