@JewTubeExposed Yes if you don't mind breaking laws and have servo's with enough torgue and power to move the gun. I suppose with the right set-up you could use a minigun :L

I was asking him the same question.

It is written in .NET so I don't think much we can do for linux compatibility unless you want to chance purchasing it to try wine or cxoffice. I personally don't want to purchase a laptop just to have something to install windows on.

The reason I mentioned purchasing it to try it out is because I personally have had the most issues with getting the software (your software, directx, .NET and drivers ) talking to the serial/USB port from inside an emulated bottle. I'm no pro on linux but getting windows apps to see a USB device has always given me problems.

Awesome project though. One of these days I'll install windows on something to try out the trial. Until then I'll continue to giggle at the trampoline test.

@Rundfunk90 I've explored all of that. Porting to Linux would be a lot of work for a tiny, tiny market. The more embedded options actually cost more than just using a $250 netbook with XP on it.
