We look at the past and think how in the past people would cut open their skin to get rid of the "bad blood" and we think "Wow that sounds really gruesome and painful". I feel like people in the future are going to look back and wen they are told we used to jab needles in us theyre gonna think the same thing ^.^ haha

No it's not. You're just like any other person out there who has a fear(I'm afraid of needles as well). Just because you're going into the army doesn't mean you have not heart or that you have to be ashamed of your fears. Many people in the military are afraid of needles(my dad being on of them).

Want to get over the fear of needles? Look at them and own them and see them every day all day. Get used to a syringe and needle as comfortable as you are with a pen or any other daily object. The worst thing is to completely displace yourself from needles and try to forget about it, it actually makes you more scared and afraid. If you see it and handle one every day (CAREFULLY) you will gradually see that its not really a big deal at all.

To be honest, at least for blood draws, this is completely counterintuitive. Cold restricts the blood vessels, making it much more difficult and painful to get the job done. Though there is this flaw, I can see the benefits to using it for injections. Also, many trypnophobics will have a hard time watching this video, cutting out much of that demographic if this is an advertisement.

i dont like needles and i feel weird when people talk about them but i can overcome my fear pretty easily and get a shot if i need to. But when i actually get the shot i black out. the last time i got a shot i thought i needed only one. i ended up getting three and i blacked out 4 times in the room.

Yes I have some advices for you first,you have to make needles your friends not your enmies & take the shots step by step, when I was 3 months old ,I was scared but then my late mom gave me tons & tons of shots on my butt also I had alot of needles on my knuckles too then when I was a teenager my late mom also gave me a vitamin shot monthly also on my butt,now I'm 34 years old &I'm not afraid of needles or shots & my body is used to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so basicly, just get on cold ass ice pack and put it on ur arm or where ever it is and put it on there for a while to numb it.....
