@chpspd1990 It's not so much a case of not rolling them, it's picking a better line when you do roll them. The series I race in, everybody's taught from the beginning that if you have to roll a jump, you roll it on the right side of the track, and the faster riders will stay left.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way when you have 20 riders on a track 12 feet wide, but on a regular outdoor track that's the procedure.
