  • Such a tradgedy i hope i spelled tht rite i ruined the moment dammit!

  • tht is true why the fuck people do tht they are just to pussy to ride and need to make an excuse of some shit for why they wont ride

  • Lane Frost was the best bull rider there has ever been. Rest in peace Lane.

  • I don't get this at all. Is there a skill involved or just luck?

  • this is the ride that he died??

  • with all do respect he never got gored (the bulls horns never touched him) they "Enhanced" that part in the movie ........ he made a good ride and after getting up of the ground the bull pretty much did a SHOULDER CHECK

  • @CatPerez2012 When he fell to the ground he already had fractured ribs and then when the bull gored him he punctured his Aorta in his heart. It was almost an instant death.

  • Lane Frost has been the biggest inspiration to my career out of anybody. Im a saddle bronc rider from Iowa and i watch 8 Seconds every night before i go to bed. I have watched it every night for the past 3 years of my career. Hell of a cowboy and a darn good kid. Nice Ride Cowboy. Your Number 1 to All of Us Still.

  • i wish i could ride red rock

  • It should have happened sooner.

  • I miss him so much makes me so sad

  • Such an amazing rider with SOO much talent. His life was too short lived, but it impacted every bullriders life. RIP Lane, you are GREAT. My boyfriend looks up to you. He always writes your name on his riding hand before he rides. (:

  • what a tool you call yourself a bullrider

  • @gingerboycat Fuck off this man was a hero!

  • Lane is my hero and my idle. But it's better he died in a rodeo arena than in a car accident at that age

  • I went to many rodeos and saw Lane ride at a lot of them. He had a style all his own. Smooth, fluid and ok I'll say it... pretty. I mean that in the best way. I loved the way he rode. Last time I saw him was in an airport and he smiled and waved.

  • Im proud to be from LaJunta - knowing he was from here and knowing that he was a great and true bull rider.....just like my daddy - who I just lost. I know he would have bought Lane a drink off of that 8 second ride! and maybe theyve already had it in heaven! Hope so :)

  • i love it it was my dads friend

  • 8 seconds is no where near what really happened. Thy made up a lot of the story. My family is good friends and used to be neighbors of his parents. But as far as him being a great person that part is right.

  • @jmaxey62 dont disrespect

  • I just finished watching "8 Seconds"...loved the movie, but though my son knew the ending, he didn't tell me.

I was so saddened by the outcome. The young man was so courageous!

Is it true that his ribs were broken, and it was when he fell in the mud that his heart was punctured?

    Either way. What a tragedy.

    R.I.P. Lane

  • R.I.P. Lane Frost you're my hero and were the best cowboy there is was and ever will be

  • Why the fuck do ppl that don't like rodeo an think that it's abuse look up rodeo or bull riding just so they can start a fight you guys are pussy little wimps that are scared of a cow you see on tv so get off these videos and go to your knitting videos and comment on them my brother was a bull rider, my dad is a bull rider and I am a bull rider ! And they get more respect than any of you fagots ! So grow some balls and try it ! You know what better yet .. Don't try it at all we don't need ppl l

  • @Sluggett8 love your comment - and Ive gotten into this same argument several times. It is NOT abuse. In fact, I believe that us rodeo people know more respect fo the animal than anyone else. They are proud and fierce creatures, as well as are we. it is a mutual relationship that those who are not in it will never understand - BACK OFF FOLKS!!!!! you dont want a rodeo girl on you ass!!!!!

  • @Sluggett8 Bull riding is hardly ausive. The bull works for a few minutes than eats its life away. Works a bit again, goes back to pasture and so on. No problem with it.

Steer roping on the other hand is disgusting. I'm not against all rodeo, just certain events.

  • @Sluggett8 That's right i ride bulls and i am eleven years old

    (miniature bulls)

  • @Sluggett8 Thats right i ride miniature bulls and have been on a couple of big bulls and im eleven

  • @Sluggett8 lol, and arguing on the internet is stupid.. until the world ends you'll have critics. get over it..

  • RIP Lane your my hero and the reason i still ride today

  • How Did He Die ?

  • @AshCashIsMyName He came off a bull, the bull rammed him, breaking a rib, and sending it through his heart.

    R.I.P Lane Frost.

  • @InLove4Ev Was This The Bull That Did It ?

  • @AshCashIsMyName

this is the bull "Takin Care of Business" that did it.

  • @DanzigGabrielsMom Ohhh So The Video Didnt Get The Full Clip Then To Show It ?!

  • Lane I am sure when you made it to heaven the good lord smiled at you and said welcome to heaven cowboy, your entry fees have been paid.

  • I had the chance of meeting Lane an he was the nicest, friendliest person that I've ever met. We lost a great champion an the best bullrider thats ever been in rodeo. He influenced me in my rodeo career in bullriding. We will never have another bullrider like him !!! The rodeo community misses people like Lane an it does'nt get any easier with time!!! I get on here every day an I cry every day that I get on here but it's something I gotta do!!! Ya'll take care an GOD BLESS YA'LL !!!

  • lane if i could have met you in person i would be the happiest man alive, if they have youtube in heaven, god bless you. not only were you a good bull rider but a good man, R.I.P. cowboy

  • Hey, respect the man for what he did. Keep your opinion to yourself

  • I'm not a tree hugger or Peta member... but don't treat bulls like shit, and maybe you won't die.

  • lane doin what he does best.. dancin with bulls...

  • I named my youngest son after him!

  • fuck you sashman1972 have some respect

  • I tear up evertime I see this. This young man was a great human being, damn good bull rider and a inspiration to us all. I wish I could have seen him ride in person.

R.I.P Cowboy! You are loved and remember.

    Good Ride Cowboy, Good Ride

    We miss you.

  • @RemeberLaneFrost He will always be the best and be missed so much

  • OMG!!! Here comes all the tree huggers.

I ran the chutes at a top rodeo....peta was going to picket. My boss rounded us up..told us that he better not even see one sign..Beat their ass. Dont worry about jail or trouble..I got you covered..They didn't show..I was glad they didn't.

The internet makes me wish they did. Ya'll better be glad you get to cry and hide in your basements..

Not one of you have the balls to take us on...Pathetic..Shut up and move on to the spotted owl..

  • Yawn.

  • @sashman1972 And Just What R U Yawnin At!?!?

  • @sashman1972 FU

  • As a bull fighter the first set of rules you learn when you first sign a stock contractor is that protecting the bull is your number one priority above the cowboy and yourself.. The bull is there money maker they would be broke if there bulles would get hurt

  • @MrCfuller21

Yeah..Thats for the money..But you better do your job for us if you dont want a beating and get a good word around the circuits to get more and better shows.

  • My dad was entered in Cheyenne that year, missed the short go by a 10th of a second. he would've drawn out of the same pen. Makes you think, it couldve happened to my dad just as easily.

  • @hyosilver1 It can, and it does. Is it worth it? Your generation is following suit. A 10 year old riding a bull? Maybe I should let my children play on a freeway.

  • @standingatthedoor Its the the life we choose. I started young and was competing by age 8 and by the time I was 13 I was riding full size bulls. Defiantly worth it, we all know the risk involved thats what makes the sport so great.

  • @hyosilver1 my dad had me riding miniature bulls in rodeos by 3 years old and i tarted ridingjr bulls at 10 years old while the rest of my friends were still riding what ii rode when i waas 3 years old :) my dad rodeo in the PBR in mexico. yeah they have proffecional bull riding in mexico!!! the same as we have here in the usa

  • @ teamtigerpaw that's the best you got? You can't argue your point with intelligence with out showing your low class values, surely you can talk with out trash coming out of your uneducated mouth......

  • @Bradscarlett I wish the bullriders could talk without the trash. It seems to be thats all they know, other than abuse, bully, deny, and run, in that order.

  • MY Mist Post Standingatthehedore My Bad It Was meant for @Bradscarllet Post sorry.

  • that a kid lane your still the best and will always be love ya miss ya

  • @standingatthedoor you know nothing of Rodeo or ranching, rodeo started as a competition between ranches, and there are plenty of ranchers who rodeo! I can name enough that you would get tired of reading names. Those animals are not just cattle they are athletes and yes there are freak accidents that happen but stock contractors treat there rough stock with mire respect than you will ever know!

  • @Bradscarlett You know nothing but the constant blather of rodeo lies and coverups. Rodeo does not respect animals or people, so they should not expect it either. Ever wonder why so many cheer for the bull when he wins? Because animal abusers deserve what they get, and rodeo is no different. Takin' Care of Business, how fitting of a name for a bull to do just that.

  • Open up a dictionary and look up Cowboy, and NO LIE this is the true deffinition,

    COWBOY- LANE FROST!!!

  • @Tyharmon51 I looked it up on merriam-webster.

    1. One who tends cattle or horses; especially : a usually mounted cattle-ranch hand. RANCH.

    2. A business or businessperson operating in an uncontrolled or unregulated manner. RODEO.

RANCH & RODEO ARE TWO DIFFERENT KINDS OF PEOPLE. Not everyone does both, You are either one or the other. To be both, you would have to be a charlatan.

  • Where's the rest of it?

  • @standingatthedoor well how do you get your beef? Do you eat beef? If you do don't go telling me its animal abuse to ride a bull. You know what they do to beef cattle, a whole lot more than hop on the back of it, so Just get off of YouTube with your opinions that none of us country boys and cowboys care for, Lane Frost was a real man, and from the looks of it, you don't sound like a real man

  • @GAredneck389 What does eating beef have to do with tormenting a bull for enjoyment? You obviously have a perversion that you cannot defend. A real man does the right thing, and one of them is admitting when he is wrong. You can't do either. Real men do not torment animals. Lane Frost got caught, and you can thank rodeo for that. Can you justify his actions and save rodeo from further embarrassment? Nobody has done it yet, because there are no real men in rodeo and ya'll proving that.

  • wow my boyfriend is a bullrider and idk what i would do if i lost him(love u babe) ifeel for kelly rip lane

  • I'm not sure how it's broke it's leg, I don't study up to argue, but I'm pretty sure more riders get hurt than bulls, it's like putting a small dog on the back of a pissed off grizzly bear and hoping the dog can ride it and not get eaten. It's not animal abuse, and if it is, then I guess that skinning your deer and cooking it is abuse too,

  • @GAredneck389 The bull breaks his leg because of a bad landing, while trying to get a creep off his back. And how did that happen? The creeps that tormented the bull to force him to buck made it happen. And why? Because these creeps like to tease animals in order to have a good time. And who? Why, It's EVERYONE who pays to support this kind of sick display of a so-called tradition. It's nothing more than a public display of animal abuse for fun and profit. Y'all GUILTY AS CHARGED.

  • @standingatthedoor i shoot bulls for fun :) jk lmfao

  • Yeah whatever, he didn't do any harm To that bull, they did shock it in the pen to get it worked up but it's the equivalent to a prank pen, I know, my buddy shocked me with one. It's a 150 man against a 2,000 lb bull, I'm pretty sure the bull has an upperhand advantage

  • @GAredneck389 And what about the bull that gets his leg broken? And how did that happen? And WHY? And then there's WHO?

  • Thumbs up if you think standingatthedoor is a piece of work. Apparently it's not abuse if you kill a chicken and fry it up but it is if you climb on a one ton bull and try to hold on for 8 seconds. Hey, I'm pretty sure they killed animals for meat back when Jesus was alive.

  • @GAredneck389 You almost got the picture. You can see Jesus riding a donkey without a strap. That should say enough of how we should treat animals, with respect, something else that rodeo lacks.

  • Watching his film has helped me alot rip lane frost

  • Look how he uses they way u bull spins to re set his feet its amazing!!!

  • ..... Im sorry but.... who was he?? but! R.I.P

  • @josiahcuster97 He pretty much made PBR what it is today, and ever since he was killed they have made him the leading cause for the research of riders safety equipment... such as the chest protector.

  • 13 people rode bodacious and fell off. R.I.P Lane Frost.. you will be missed

  • Hey what song is that?

  • Lane Frost's the best. His bullridin video Bull Talk has helped me so much. Rest in peace Lane.

  • @cigs41 and @codyridesdirtbikes I agree completely with y'all!! SHARK is so full of crap! I've talked with him a few times and he is such an a-hole! Like the whole shocking horses and bulls in the chutes isn't cruelty. All it feels like is one of those prank pens or pencils.

  • My grandfather was good friends with lane! He actually rode in the same rodeo one time with lane!

  • <3

  • where is the video of his death?

  • lane was the best bull rider that i knowhe will always be remembered

  • 8 seconds is the only movie that makes me tear up

  • what most people dont know about lane is that he was a great Christian man as well. most people think of a God fearing person they think of someone who doesnt know how to have any fun but lane sure proves those people wrong...:)

  • @ShOcKtHeMoNkEy2550 I don't think a real Christian would do this in the first place. Jesus didn't torment animals, why should we? And I don't think there are any animal abusers in heaven either, but that'll be his testimony, and not 'till then. He died listening to his idiot animal abusing friends more than Jesus.

  • @standingatthedoor You're an idiot. I sure hope there aren't idiots in heaven.

  • @bustyn You know there ain't, so don't tell us where they are when they die abusing animals. Praising God and beating the crap of His creation does not sound like a righteous act, unless you can document some scripture for this behaviour that makes it acceptable in the Lord's eyes, your religion is as phony as the rodeo itself.

  • hes the reason i started riding

  • wasnt lanes last ride his death ride.. so technically this is his death video?

  • my soon-to-be step dad knew Lane... he named his oldest son after him.... they were great friends.... RIP, Lane.... :D :)..... AND I SURE HOPE U ATE WAFFLES!!!! :D :) lol

  • R.I.P. Lane, you are my hero. and to any one posting rude and un welcomed comments to this. you could never cu it as a cowboy. so take your pussy ass to a different video

  • i love this movie lane frost my mom acttually named me after him well my middle name at leat:)

btw this is tanners cuzin shelby

  • i love this movie lane frost my mom acttually named me after him well my middle name at leat:)

  • what a dumbass

  • Just watched 8 Seconds.......... SO INSPIRING!

  • Lane Frost Is My Hero, I Wish He Was Still Here! He Was THE Best Rider In The History Of Rodeo!

  • did he die at that event?

  • @intheveins2000 yes, after the ride the he was getting up from the ground as the bull spun back and gored him breaking ribs and puncturing his lungs

  • @bm4nu i know he got gored in the ribs. i watched the movie not to long ago. so sad :*(

  • @intheveins2000 well technically he was declared deceaced at the hospitol. He was alive when taken in the ambulance

  • @bm4nu i didn't know that

  • I have the Bible that his parents dedicated to him.

  • I got two words for ya... Cowboy up!

  • Cowboy up, rip lane

  • R.I.P lane!! i love you! he was a truly great cowboy!!!! i will never forget you!

  • I love you Lane! R.I.P.

  • Does any one know the name of the song here? Or artist? Please reply. Thank you. R.I.P Lane Frost. He will never be forgotten in my heart.

  • i remember seeing this video. i also remember when they had said lane had passed away after this .. we truly lost a rodeo Icon ... where ever you are lane you are sorrily missed ... may yu rest in peace ...

    chris

  • hes a rilly cowboy and nowon can take it away from him

  • Comment removed

  • why do all these damn SHARK videos keep coming up on all these videos!

  • @codyridesdirtbikes i know right, those mother fuckers are really pissing me off with their rodeo trash talking

  • @cigs41 They are so full of crap. Have you ever watched any of there videos?

  • @codyridesdirtbikes oh yeah, i seriously almost punched my laptop when i watched the ones were he trash talks the Cheyenne frontier rodeo's . that guy over exaggerates in all of he's videos

  • @cigs41 He has to if he wants views. He is making everything sound bad so more people will agree with him. I have talked to him a couple times, and he pisses my off everytime.

  • @codyridesdirtbikes very very ignorant guy, have you seen he's stupid moving van with tv screens on it?

  • @cigs41 No i havent. How do i find it?

  • @codyridesdirtbikes go to his youtube page its the introduction video as soon as you go to it

  • @cigs41 How does SHARK stand for showing animals respect and kindness? What is the H? It seems like that van would be illegal because it is a distraction while driving. I would like to see one of the screens break.

  • @codyridesdirtbikes i never thought of that it should be illegal for distracting drivers,

  • @cigs41 I wanna see a video of the van getting impounded because its a distraction. That would be hilarious if it got towed.

  • @codyridesdirtbikes that video of his must be trick photography and computer doctored up!

  • i ride everu saturday every sat i think bout lane

  • did any one see who the name was that posted this video? Wonder if its the real JB Mauney??

  • good, whats song is this ?

  • i dont see what happened?

  • I'm glad to see that the rodeo doesn't kill the bulls that kill the riders like the bull fighters do. You get in the ring with a bull, sometimes you get the horn, it's what they do.

  • Looks like I gotta open up about 10 cans of whoop ass.

  • Bull riders make great lovers cause they stay on til the buzzer goes off...

but they also can be lousy lovers because they think 8 seconds is a great ride!

  • i watched 8 seconds for first time today cryed my eyes out but aye bull riders go down and thats why its the toughest sport on dirt and i appriciate on what they do

  • im named after him

  • my brother use to ride..im so glad he quit

  • The bull takin' care of business died in 2000. You have spurs from Kelly wow thats amazing.

  • i have a pair of spurs made by lanes wife kelly ...... never getting rid of them ....

  • @tuttoz Make a video of them!

  • @javiq91 alrite lol , ill just take pics ....

  • @tuttoz if u ever do i will buy them but i know u wont but just keep in mind =-)

  • what happened to the bull after that?

  • @MrAbsbvbsdfbsdfvbdab Red rock is from red Bluff California, my hometown. He still lives till this day

  • @COOTYQ33N Red rock does not still live to this day. Red rock died on my birthday in like 94 and was burried under an oak tree. He did at 19 by i believe a stroke

  • @aggiehunter87 oh right on. yeah your right for some reason i thought he still was but nope

  • LOVE him! (:

  • legend has it, he is still riding that bull

  • @sublime88sublime my friend he will always ride the bull be sure of that

  • R.I.P Lane.... Whats the name of the song?

  • It's guts and love and glory-one mortal's chance at fame

His legacy is rodeo and cowboy is his name.

  • @mikeykx250f

legacy is rodeo.. and lane frost will always be his name

  • When you get down to the cuttin' and the leather touches hide

And there's nothin' left to think about, he nods and says, "Outside!"

Then frozen for an instant against the open gate

Is hist'ry turned to flesh and blood, a warrior incarnate.

And while they pose like statues in that flicker of an eye

There's somethin' almost sacred, you can see it if you try.

It's guts and love and glory-one mortal's chance at fame

His legacy is rodeo and cowboy is his name.

    "Turn 'im out"

  • @mikeykx250f that yours or from a book? either way its poetry my friend thanks for posting.

  • @123456789mischief its in 8 seconds i cant get enough of that movie

  • @123456789mischief That was from the movie 8 Seconds. It's a movie about Lane.

  • @mikeykx250f Last two are off of eight seconds.

  • cowboy up ......R.I.P. lane

  • Lane you are and always will be my idle R.I.P and

    Long live cowboys

  • @story2724

    idol?

  • Comment removed

  • Oh..My..Lord...I remember that day............We all knew this fine Bull Rider in Oklahoma..I remember when he road in the Junior National finals...and he danced with my Sister Katie...She was killed in a car wreck...the same year Lane was killed...Such Precious and Brave young souls they were...We will forever remember their lives and spirits....Always...Becky

  • R.I.P lane, you were one helluva cowboy

    Long. Live. Cowboys

  • Good ride cowboy. Going to pbr tomorrow god bless and watch over all riders

  • We miss you Lane- R.I.P.

  • R.I.P Lane =( You were the best of the best

  • if you want to see what happened /watch?v=TLbopFM2xEo&feature=related

  • It actually severed his main artery. If it had pierced his heart, he would've died instantly. He bled to death after he got up.

  • Lane was the best. RIP.

  • The bull's name that killed Lane Frost was Taken care of business. After the ride, Lane dismounted and while on the ground the bull hit Lane on his left side breaking a rib that punctured Lanes heart.

  • how did he die ?

  • @EnglishBulldogPride A bull named "takin care of business" killed him. The bull hit Lane with his horn and Lane's rib broke and that punctured his heart. Some say it punctured his lung.

  • Bodacious was the name of the bull that killed Lane Frost
