  • Let's put it this way... IF Mike Tyson had been trained in takedowns and tap-outs and stuff, he would have easily been a dominant MMA fighter. Perhaps the MOST dominant MMA fighter. We'll probably never see a fighter in any combat sport with his combination of speed, and strength in his prime ever again. However, you don't last very long in MMA without a rounded-out game, and the fact is he doesn't have that. He wouldn't do much better then Kimbo did.

  • Mixed Martial Arts has Bruce Lee. Boxing has Mike Tyson/Ali. Bruce would fuck both of them up.

  • fuck mma shit. boxing still can beat mma if you got someone like ali or tyson.

  • bloody hell

  • fuck mikez 2 solid...dats what u cal speed....solid...

  • Tyson would knockout any MMA fighter

    He is a menace

  • Comment removed

  • @TheSpydaa

He admitted he wouldn't want to fight them in their rule sets. He's a mma fan to boot. He wouldn't even fight Bob SAPP under kickboxing rules. Have you seen Bob Sapp kick? It's like special olympics on ice. But of course, you know more than Mike Tyson about how Mike Tyson would do.

  • @TheSpydaa nope, any MMA fighter would take him down and tap him out in one round

  • @TheCinderblock mma could be knocked out by his uppercut

  • @TheSpydaa Why just MMA fighter? He could knock ANYONE out.

  • There's nice pivoting too.

  • @ChicagoProdigy I'm glad you noticed, people are all clocking the speed of the shadowboxing, which is absolutely amazing

but his pivoting skills whilst doing this are real good.

  • what the hell

  • most of mike tyson's opponents were unknowns. good strategy.

  • he made boxing into science

  • You will never see this kind of speed in slow ass MMA fights.

  • @musood6630 Maybe one-day we will. The issue with MMA is they focus too much on grappling, yes it's effective, but still. The only fast martial arts people I can think of was Bruce Lee and is Tommy Carruthers. However, even Bruce Lee was a big fan of boxing and Ali. He won a few boxing matches as a kid. A lot of people tend to forget the importance of boxing.

  • this was when he was just 15.

  • Oh my..., Real battle cyborg!

  • i love how vids like tyson in his prime or sum MMA dudes whackin each others heads off the canvas ALWAYS gets idiots arguing.... i think its a mixture of genuine awe and appreciation of talent and a kind of envy and perverted fear that makes these fools spout shit about their bullshit opinion and preferences.... just enjoy the vid.... mr tyson is dust and air like u and me... but these vids are a testament to what he and others have achieved in life and that is all that will last in time.......

  • thats sum dragonballz shit men

  • Thats what we call in MORTAL KOMBAT a 32 HITS COMBO , followed by a FINISHIM

  • tyson was a beast. he was unstoppable when he was focused and in his prime.

But times have changed....its all about MMA baby....UFC FTW!!!!!!

  • Teddy!!!!!

  • @rugby2413 Damn right! He's more of a gorilla than a man...

  • Genetic specimen right there. Featherweight speed at heavyweight...NUTS

  • whaaaaaaaaaat ......

  • will you 2 stop crying already

  • .........Mother of God

  • I LOVE boxing. And I find boxing and MMA equally impressive, because I understand the work ethic, discipline, and technique required for both sports. I can't stand these circular debates about which is better. Boxers and MMArtists share a lot of the same struggles (i.e. social, physical, financial). But lemme tell it how it is; if you wanna compare the two by their closeness to real fighting, it's MMA all the way, simply because boxing = hands only, and a real fight = no rules.

  • 早すぎてパンチが見えねぇwww

  • Boxing is to MMA as Haiku is to freestyle. Haiku is made purer by it's restriction, not diminished.

  • The best ever...period.

  • For Tyson's size his speed was the fastest of almost any fighter I have ever seen. Combine that with the raw power and skill of the peek a boo style fighting Cus and Kevin trained him to do and you have the perfect ingredients for a world champion

  • his footwork impressed me as much as his speed...god damn

  • Mike Tyson's POWER LEVEL IS OVER 9000!!!!!!!

  • Wow

I just watched manny's speed video and this one after another... Dare i say tyson's speed was quicker than manny

  • @ph00ny1 With or without gloves?

  • @ph00ny1 Tyson's a heavyweight, Pacquiao is a junior welterweight-welterweight, pound for pound Tyson is much faster.

  • manny pacquiao and amir khan must be ashamed....

  • hes a beast

  • box is not a sport anymore !!

  • wtf he is unreal

  • Only time you'll see mike use the jab is during shadowboxing. Why jab when the lead left hook knocked 'em dead 9 times outta' ten?

  • mike tyson would kill any heavyweight in boxing history in his prime, ali didnt throw tht fast ali said it himself in a arsenio hall show he would destroy me

  • he knocked out the air

  • it`s over 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • o kurwa

  • @OrginalEvo podzielam twoje zdanie..

  • that was pretty fast lol

  • dude moves like a sword fish out of the water, how cool

  • press 9, BEST PART :D

  • You cant compare Boxing with MMA! The birth hour of boxing as a sport may be its acceptance as an Olympic game as early as 688 BC(ca 2500 years ago!!!). Boxing is an ART! Boxing is about what you can accomplish ONLY with your knuckles... To me that's so much more impressive than MMA. I watch both MMA and Boxing but Boxing to me is the realest of the two of them. Incredible video, Mike Tyson was the shit!

  • @nico2710 I have never heard it said so perfectly. Boxing is the science of fist fighting and MMA is trying to be a sport like Boxing.

  • @nico2710

I agree, that's why I think Thumb War is the most impressive activity there is.

  • @nico2710 pankration was ancient mma. boxing came from pankration. boxing is not an art it was made as entertaimment and a bloodsport. as was mma too

  • @ageeeeeeeeee why do you think pankration was diferent from boxing?

  • @ageeeeeeeeee nono bro, boxing has been done in what is now Iraq, Iran and Egypt for THOUSANDS of years. In fact some german dude found a 7000 years old stone tablet depicting a....PRICE FIGHT. Pankration was introduced to Olympics earlier than boxing yes but as i said boxing have been around a lot longer than mma have... And yes boxing is an art, hence the word martial arts... Good day to you sir

  • @nico2710 nope mma has egypt had fighting with everything not just hands iran had eveything and had wrestling mma is older.

  • @nico2710 mma has more to puching which is why people prefer it and its more effective

  • @nico2710 well that's the thing

Boxing is definitely an art form however MMA is more of a chess match. There is a defense for every offense and there is an offense for every defense

  • @nico2710 Here's how I look at it. You put a boxer in the octagon fighting MMA rules, the MMA fighter will win. You put an MMA fighter in the ring with a boxer fighting boxing rules, the boxer will win.

This is why you can't compare the 2 sports. It's a fucking stupid argument.

  • @ThePantyDroper Excactly, thats why ive never compared the two...

  • @nico2710 It is entertaining though, watching youtubers who think they're experts on the subject arguing back and forth.

  • @ThePantyDroper Ye you're right, rather entertaining.

  • @ThePantyDroper Omg ikr?!

Read a few internet pages and think they're Mr Consultant :L

  • @ThePantyDroper Gonna have to call bull. An MMA fighter learns multiple disciplines which most of the time includes boxing. How could someone who trains in boxing, kickboxing, jui jitsui, and wrestling, not do good against a boxer? I would say an MMA fighter has a better chance going into a boxing ring and winning then a boxer going into a MMA fight and winning. Your argument makes no sense because MMA fighters do boxing routines. Only thing i could see is stamina, boxers train for longer fights

  • @StevenHFights Exactly. Boxers train in stamina. And boxers ONLY focus on boxing. Their training is based on boxing and boxing a lone.

Put it this way. You have a stomache problem. Going to a general practitioner = MMA fighter. Going to a specialist = Boxer.

Do you honestly think there's an MMA fighter that could beat someone like Manny Pacqiuo in the boxing rigng?

  • @ThePantyDroper Today? No I don't think there is an MMA fighter that can beat someone like Manny Pacqiuo. BUT, for you to say that an MMA fighter wouldn't stand a chance against a boxer in a boxing ring, that is what I don't agree with. If you give an MMA fighter the same amount of time they gave James Tony to train for his fight against Randy Cotour they are going to do way better because they already have experience in boxing. Remember lots of MMA fighters started boxing or kickboxing first.

  • @StevenHFights I agree with proper training an MMA fighter against a boxer would be a fair fight. But I was refferring to no specific training prior to the fight. I did tae kwon do for about 7 years and I know I'd get my ass handed to me in a boxing match without training for the fight. tae kwon do is basically kick boxing.

Now a boxer vs MMA fighting MMA rules. You'd have to agree with me when I say the boxer doesn't stand a chance. Martial arts takes many years of training to be a pro

  • @nico2710 Really? So mastering multiple disciplines and accomplishing greatness with them is more impressive iyo than mastering one and accomplishing greatness. Hmm, interesting logic.

  • @capoeiraike It haz nothing to do with logic. I shitload of moves(kicks, submissions, punches and what not) against hands ONLY... I'll pick the hands only any time baby. Preference has nothing to do with LOGIC. Especially not when it comes to martial arts. Put two guys with the same set of tools and the same set of rules against each other and you've got boxing. Put two guys with a different set of tools but the same set of rules against each other and you've got MMA. Have a nice one capoeiraike

  • @nico2710 Well you can pick the hands only baby, but I hope you don't in a real fight lol jk. it IS LOGICAL to assume mastering NUMEROUS disciplines versus ONE is more impressive, and It is obviously more useful to have more tools in any type of real life situation. A scholar with 5 degrees IMHO is more impressive than a scholar with one. Your right preference has nothing to do with logic. You can PREFER Picasso, but Davinci was OBVIOUSLY more impressive, and most would agree. Peace

  • @capoeiraike But they dont! No MMA fighter is even NEAR as good as a boxer when it comes to punching, the same goes for the kicks and etc. etc. It's all about preference. I could care less about your bullshit, boxing is the only one for me. For a street fight? First of all 99.999% of all the guys you would meet in a street fight cant fight for shit hands only is more than enough, but i do use kicks(I've trained Muay Thai for a long time)when i need to. No i dont find MMA more impressing still...

  • @nico2710 My argument wasn't related to "personal preference". I am stating that it is LOGICAL to assume those who possess and are refined in MULTIPLE skills are more impressive than those who only possess one. Thats just a social and EVOLUTIONARY FACT homie. Since according to you 99% can't fight, an MMA fighter would have NO problem trading, OR ground fighting just in case. Since 99% of fights also end up on the ground, would suck to only know how to jab. LOL! Look at james Toney. Just logic.

  • @capoeiraike What do i find the most impressive of the following two? Einsteins work on Physics OR the fact that mike tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF world heavyweight titles, at the age 20... Thats right Mike Tyson, and why you ask? Because i dont really care too much for the jewish guy's work, just like i do not care too much about MMA. Opinions man, opinions... They dont make sense at times. Excuse me i gotta eat my caviar

  • @nico2710 You could like shit covered raisins for all I care bro, but my point is still valid when viewed from a logical standpoint. All I really gathered from your comment is that you are an anti semitic douche. Congrats.

  • @capoeiraike Cute... No I just stated that Albert Einstein was Jewish, nothing wrong that now is it? Fuck I'm part Gypsy and Basque(two of Europe's most hated ethnic group's)so the chance of me being an anti semitic is rather low, but not nonexistent thou lol. Calling me a douche on youtube is hardly mature, i suggest apologize to me ASAP!!!

  • @nico2710 Uhh, yeah, here is a little help. It is looked at as disparaging to to use someone's ethnicity in that way. You'er interjecting race into it when it is not needed, and this comes off as racist. For instance I could say "Hmm yeah you have your opinions, but I could care less what the gypsy has to say". It's a douchey thing to say and can be taken as a put down amongst gypsies in general. No apology is necessary for your duochebaggery. Just trying to help you out. U can thank me now.

  • @capoeiraike No... What i meant was that, i couldn't care less for this(he happens to be jewish)guys work. Acknowledging ones ethnicity makes you racist now all of the sudden? You argument is invalid... you are taking it out of context. Try again... NO i mean do not try again because i think people are getting tired of our shit. The Gypsy's hungry, i gotta go fetch some cheese.

  • @nico2710 No it doesn't make you racist, it just makes you LOOK/SOUND racist. I already gave my examples, if you can't understand them, then you either come from an entirely different culture and society, you're not very intelligent, or you're a racist. Take your pick. I honestly don't think u are a racist. I was just trying to help you gain a little etiquette and class so you don't come off as a douche. Enjoy your cheese.

  • @capoeiraike Hmm okey then, next time try reading between the line's. Hmm i'll pick "different culture and society".

  • @nico2710 that is a quality comment tbh, but there is also a huge martial art in jui jitsu and wrestling mma is how a human should fight

  • @SQUEEKYFART Yep

  • Comment removed

  • @nevets7921 Why would you tell me that? hmm

  • @nico2710 Because you said "The birth hour of boxing as a sport may be its acceptance as an Olympic game as early as 688 BC(ca 2500 years ago!!!)." So I replied Pankration was a martial art introduced into the Greek Olympic Games in 648 BC. It mixed boxing wrestling and kicking with submission holds suck as leg locks and choking your opponent.

  • @nevets7921 Cool story bro

  • @nico2710

LOL if you can say the "birth" of boxing is ancient Greece, then so is MMA's. Pankration was practically the same as modern MMA, and it was MORE esteemed than boxing at the time. Fail.

  • @chiconspiracy And your point is? Fuck off

  • @nico2710

Nice comeback moron. Instead of responding with logic, like I did to your post, you have a mindless insult as stupid as your original statement. My POINT is, by your logic, MMA should be more impressive than boxing, since you made the comment about how old it was.

  • @chiconspiracy Oh lord... How do you sleep at night?

  • @nico2710

And another attempt to distract from the irrationality of your original post, nice.

  • @chiconspiracy lol I really don't care.

  • @nico2710

If you don't care, why state your uneducated opinion in the first place?

  • @chiconspiracy I did care once...

  • @nico2710 Ignore him Nico.

@chiconspiracy did his comment not come across as an opinion?

    ~Each to his own.

If it's opinion then don't attempt to start arguing for days over it...

It's uncalled for.. calling his opinion stupid. & "fail" ? ..

Leave it out, to be honest his opinion I agree with, if it didn't have at least an element of truth behind it he wouldn't have gotten 31 thumbs up, I'm sure even some MMA fighters would agree.

    But it's HIS opinion.

So leave it out mate. ''¬_¬

  • @GodOnStrike

Opinion? He made a blatant statements about boxing's age and origin as proof of its superiority, even though MMA is just as old and was more renowned, showing a serious historical ignorance. If he simply said "I like boxing more", then that's fine, to each their own.

  • @chiconspiracy You're right, to each his own.

  • @GodOnStrike Thanks :) Some people are as single minded as hell.

  • LISTEN UFC AN BOXING ARE BOTH BADASS SPORTS THEY BOTH OF FUN 2 WATCH IF A BOXER LANDS A SHOT THE CAGE FIGHTER MAYBE KO`ED BUT IF THE CAGE FIGHTER TAKES THE BOXER 2 THE GROUND ITS FUCKING OVER ANYWAY PEOPLE JUST ENJOY BOTH SPORTS!!

  • OMG....

  • W....o.....W..

  • me throwin hands at knox, hehe . im fukin lit lads

  • Look at the footwork

  • damn its like fast forword

  • Oh and by the way, if Mike Tyson wanted to have sex with me for whatever reason, I don't think I could stop him

  • @BayStyles925 ._. por um acaso voce tem preferencia sexual diferente :D?

  • @japoneses11 Haha

  • @BayStyles925 hahahaha

  • fuck..

  • bullets

  • photoshop ;)

  • @2009haider yeah, he PHOTOshopped a VIDEO

  • @2009haider

lmao wow really dude, you truly dont no nothing of boxing go watch ufc bullshit on spike

  • @wagggggg I'm pretty sure he was joking. & what's wrong with UFC? You're hating for no reason

  • @BayStyles925

I don't like UFC its overrated rotten egos no discipline

  • @wagggggg

Now be fair, there are a lot of really humble and talented guys in that promotion (example: George ST Pierre and Frankie Edgar), and boxing has had it's share of shit talking self promoters (Mohammad Ali, James Toney, Floyd Mayweather). I'm not telling you to change your mind, but don;t let some bad apples determine your opinion.

  • @winged789

Ya I understand, I really like the whole hand to hand combat, I like wrestling too not as much as straight boxing, the strategy never end, in mma to me looks kinda limited to much of everything to get involved with, i dont like the walking up to fake a punch then kicking the inside of the persons knee

  • Vegita what's the scouter say about his power level?

  • @jizzy2k THE SCOUTER BLEW UP..............

    :O

  • @jizzy2k Under 5. A farmer with a shotgun should be able to kill him and he has a power level of 5!

  • @jizzy2k IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jizzy2k IT'S OVER 6 MILLION!!!!!!!!!

  • @jizzy2k IT' S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAND

  • @jizzy2k you know whats coming...ITS OVER 9000! *scouter breaks*

  • I think the guy was going to slap his ass, but then got scared.

  • Is that sound coming from the punches or his breathing?

  • @unseensword breathing

  • @unseensword Breathing.

  • I can't tell you what it is about him, I'll always be a huge fan! I can't even put it into words. What amazing speed & power.

  • Serious Question:

Why are black people best in boxing? (No racism)

  • @footube81 Last I checked, the Klitchkos weren't black.

  • @footube81 they aint anymore cept for maywather and hopkins.

  • i am faster

  • @ his prime Greatest boxer hands down

  • the two jab-type punches (mike never actually threw jabs) at 0:03... uhh... whoa. For the record, that is Bruce Lee type speed.

  • fucking hell. lightening fast.

  • greatest boxer ever!

  • ali was faster in his prime he had amazing reflexs .. mike had o.k reflexes and amazing power

  • @mikepong121 Ali still got his head bashed up, people blame his parkinsons on boxing.

You are aware of the slipping/&weaving incoporated into his peek-a-boo style?

Tyson was awesome at reflexes, he constantly slips his oponents jabs believe me it aint easy to keep your attention level up doing that

  • im a manny pacquiao fan and i think mike is faster than him...i think he's the fastest i've ever seen in my opinion

  • @jjreyesnavelgas i agree that Tyson is one of the fastest heavyweights but I think Pacquiao is faster. Tyson has faster "powerful" punches but I think Pacquiao has faster regular punches overall speed

  • Muhammad Ali is an overrated fighter. Don't get me wrong, he was great and all but it was his charismatic personality and the obstacles he had to overcome during his career as a boxer that made him greater than he seems. Pound for pound, Mike Tyson would annihilate Muhammad Ali if there were both were to fight in their prime. Mike Tyson is basically a combination of Joe Frazier and George Foreman because he has both strength and speed.

  • IF YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT MIKE TYSON CAN BEAT MUHAMMAD ALI, THEN YOU DON’T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BOXING YOU MOTHERFUCKER . . . . . . .GO SUCK UR MUMS DICK BITCH HAHAHA

  • god dayem!

  • tyson faught great and ali was a great fighter its 2 different things i love tyson and ali but the only thing ali had on tyson was his reach, tysons speed power n accuracy was unbeatable u slip once and tyson wud hav hit u with a 5 hit combo and ali cudnt take that damage. every1 goes on like ali never got beaten wen he actualy got smakd up by the guy tyson beat for the heavy weight title at only 20 years old!

  • @dinom91 sure but ali was past it then. he was almost 40 years of age. I mean who did tyson really beat? sure he dominated the heavy weight division, but he never avenged those losses. I mean when Ali lost, he fought them again, and won, look at the ali frazier fights and tell me ali couldnt take a punch.

  • @dinom91 true but keep in mind befor Buster Douglas there as a guy who fought Tyson by the name of Tony Tucker. That guy had pretty good boxing skills and set the blueprint for Buster Douglas. Look up that fight and you'll see the problems Tyson had when you have a good jab, you can tie your opponent, roll punches and halfway descent chin. It was 6 fights before the Douglas fight.

  • In this clip, I think Mike is possessed by a supernatural being. Unbelievable speed!

  • i say manny pacman and mike tayson are in the same speed i think
