@Foxpawed But they have a more dog-ish nature, when they mature. Cats tend to lose their willingness to play like that with their owners once they mature out of kittenhood.
It's really interesting...The whining *sounds* terrified, and yet simple logic would dictate that the little tyke wouldn't stick around if he/she was afraid. Their sounds seem at total odds to their behaviour.
The baby certainly wouldn't have tried jumping up TWICE after they missed on the first attempt if he/she was at all afraid.
A friend of mine had one.. Poor guy had to keep telling me I wasn't scaring the #@$% out of his fox... once you get used to it, the sound is cute, if a bit loud.
