I had really tasty pickles from a farm stand seller and the label listed the ingredients using "apple cider vinegar", I never seen any other jar of pickles that had that and the pickles had a great flavor to them. Would you happen to know anyone who uses apple cider vinegar to make pickles... is that even a good idea?

@FaceSmileProduction you can use picklin' salt, but it needs to be a pure kind. Picklin' and kosher tend to be more pure with no additives. Also, kosher salt tends to dissolve more evenly in the brine, but you can use table salt. I hope this helps!

I dunno if you're really that redneck-y or you're just playing it up, but it's funny AND on top of it, you show you actually know what you're doing to those who have been canning for a while (even cutting off the blossom end so they don't get soft from the enzymes located there).
