well....talking about tuning and so on without fuel injection is just stupid. There are also fuel injected youngtimers out there, for example the Kawasaki Z1000 motorbike. In stock condition this bike puts out about 90hp, with turbocharger and fuel injection, new crank and some minor mods to the cylinder head you can get up to above 200hp without problems.

now i am not putting down FI but you can make the same power with a carb you just have to now how to tune it. and my 03 Z1000 made 131 hp at the tire with slip-ons and a pc3.

You are right but what do you do when air density/temperature changes? A carb cannot respond to this, a injection system can.

Bingo! That's why aviation carbs have all those controls at the pilot's finger tips. You'll never see that type of control over a car's carb from the driver's seat. I prefer CV type carbs for certain motorcycles and all gas lawn tools but otherwise, give me FI everytime.
