In stock condition this bike puts out about 90hp, with turbocharger and fuel injection, new crank and some minor mods to the cylinder head you can get up to above 200hp without problems.
oh I believe it, who would pass up fuel injection? In bikes OR cars...i hadda old 86 monte carlo CL....carburetor was a nightmare, they really just rob the power from tour engine vs FI..
now i am not putting down FI but you can make the same power with a carb you just have to now how to tune it. and my 03 Z1000 made 131 hp at the tire with slip-ons and a pc3.
Bingo! That's why aviation carbs have all those controls at the pilot's finger tips. You'll never see that type of control over a car's carb from the driver's seat. I prefer CV type carbs for certain motorcycles and all gas lawn tools but otherwise, give me FI everytime.

You are right but what do you do when air density/temperature changes? A carb cannot respond to this, a injection system can.
By the way the Z1000 I quoted above is the one from the 1970s.
