I am a Medical Assistant. On the side, I am a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital Pharmacy. A pharmacist I work with is a "die hard" atheist.
She also happens to head our Christmas celebration each year. It was her who started the tradition of buying 3 needy families in the area Christmas presents. She does the shopping (last year one of our families was a family of 8). We all go to her house and wrap them together. We don't buy presents for each other.
I firmly believe that some atheist's are some of the nicest and most charitable people I know. So, I am not the type of "Christian" that says that non Christian's can't be "good people"

Common people are quite capable of being truthful. We read other books by "common" people and find them trustworthy. The fact that the 40 different writers of the Bible from all walks of life unitedly pointed to Christ's sacrifice is meaningful to reasonable people. That Christ is alive and has power to change lives is seen clearly in Paul. He was changed from being a murderer to a mighty Apostle.
His masterpiece, 1 Co. 13, has been hailed as one of the greatest pieces of literature ever.

Of course I believe it. Jesus said that God is good to all, the just and the unjust. But temporary joys cannot take the place of eternal joy. When you are young and healthy, smart and full of life, it's still well to remember that every earthly party will be over one day. What then? I don't debate this issue, by the way, to be a snot. I am sincerely interested in both sides and I try to keep myself educated.
I try to educate myself on all the different denominations also. I am on a quest to visit every church there is.
For instance, I have never been to a Catholic service. I plan on going in the coming weeks. I would like to visit a Christian Science church, etc. Atheism doesn't have a church so I come here.

I do firmly believe that those who reject God will go to a place the Bible calls Hell.
I do, however, believe that there are people out there who are atheist now that will witness God revealing Himself before they die.
The Bible is clear that it is flat out rejection of Christ's sacrifice that will separate you from your Creator for eternity. But thats not God's choice. That has been chosen by the "rejector", not the "rejectee"

Go to Him in faith.

I am a Medical Assistant. On the side, I am a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital Pharmacy. A pharmacist I work with is a "die hard" atheist.
She also happens to head our Christmas celebration each year. It was her who started the tradition of buying 3 needy families in the area Christmas presents. She does the shopping (last year one of our families was a family of 8). We all go to her house and wrap them together. We don't buy presents for each other.
I find atheist's very giving.

Because I can't measure up, God provided a way.
When you accept what he has provided, the perfection of Jesus covers all your imperfections. You aren't perfect, but, when God looks at you, he sees your sins covered. And the Holy Spirit that you deny guides you in your behavior.
Any Christian that you see that "doesn't act very Christian" is a poser and not truly representative of Christ and His salvation.

What you all fail to understand, is that our faith isn't based on logistics or quantum physics, it's based on the faith that one day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. Tell me, can atheists see the wind? I don't think so, and neither can I... I can see the effects of the wind, but I never see the wind. Not believing in something because you can't see it... just isn't logical... hmmm.

Not believeing it beacuse you can't see it ISN'T the logic. Why will every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is LORD? Why not Allah? Why not Zeus, or Thor, or Jupiter? Their claims hold just as much water as the Christian's claims. Just like Santa Claus, and the tooth fairy, and the easter bunny.
