Wh does everyone think that he description "Flame colored pelt" Means an unnatural color? If yo look at cat beeds an abisiyan has a flamey-orange pelt. This is actually te most natural and acurate pelt color i've seen on rusty so far.

@Wolfgirl2help That's very true. The picture of Firestar on the book Firestar's Quest is actually a tabby tom. Most people don't bother doing the stripes, because, when you think of it, you don't imagine Firestar a tabby! Flightfootwarrior actually did almost duplicate the pelt colour, and, most people (including me :( ) do it in correctly. Good job, Flightfoot!

@KookieKittie2 indeed. I said abissiyan because it's a cat without stripes with a firey/orangy brown pelt. They're just a thinner version of a red tabby with out stripes....granted that he wasn't a pure breed cat.

@Wolfgirl2help Yes, but Firestar is probably an Amercian Shorthair, just a normal cat. When he is first described, he's a cat with a flame coloured pelt, then a hansome flame coloured tom. I'm almost positive that when as Abissiyn is called 'ruddy' or something like that when it is the colour you just described.

@Wolfgirl2help An amercian shorthair is just a mutt kind of cat (not in the bad way) I have a non-purebred meduim/short hair cat. I would guess that none of the cats in the clan are purebred considering longhairs breed with short hairs etc., etc. If a newcomer to the Clan that's purebred meets another purebred, then the kittens would obviously be purebred if the mother and father are the same breed. But it wouldn't matter, because in Clan talk, 'purebred' means Clan born :) and it's nice, huh?
