The best thing about you, as a piano player, is that of all the songs on your channel, including the ones that you didnt write, this one and your waltz are my favorites. It shows that youre really breaking through, and im beginning to hear a lot about you, outside of youtube. Amazing job and congraulations :)
@LeevidPiano Hi :) Glad you like this piece. Its not what Im aiming to compose atm though, Im trying to go deeper into the material, but I do like this style as well :)
Oh? Now you got me curious about what you are hearing and where???! =)
@thomandy a lot of my piano playing friends talk about you and your channel. ive also heard you were on the radio at some point, but ive never been able to actually hear it. :(
Well, If you ever got time, I do got the whole interview on my channel with subtitles :) The interview actually got me my first gig as well, so it was exiting :)
Relaxing piece. Good to see that you create music for money. Maybe I'll need some nice background music for a game, when I can find some time to finish it. Do you compose pieces with other instruments, like drums, synths etc., too?
Congrats on your first paying assignments I hope there is more to come :))) and it would be great to see your piece in a movie too... I can imagine the song with a memory flashback type part of a movie :) You improved amazingly my friend, I'm really impressed with you.
I look forward to hearing your waltz. Impressed by the keys you choose - in the case of your waltz, Bb minor - beautiful! Again, given the short time you've been composing, your choice of keys are advanced. You can easily copyright your music which will ensure it's safety in any public arena. Keep going - don't stop. There's centuries of sound to explore and all these wonders will play their part in the part you will come to play over time. Blessings ever....
Thanks :) Yeah, I have never had any problems with any of the keys! I did play Maple Leaf Rag after 6-7 months of playing, and that made me very secure about sharps/flats!:) Yeah, there is a big difference in a piece like this and my Waltz of course, cause this is something I Could have improvised, and most if it is based on improv-sessions!! :) But My Waltz, well, lets just say that not a single note is on accident :) Tnx again :)
Thomas - I can hear this as a theme for a movie. Well done! For one so young and who has only been composing for such a short while, you display such an admirable gift of melody. You have a good heart! Contrary to depmuc's insensitive comment below I'd say the character of this piece is one of dreaming - and to that, it's melody is for me distinctly Irish. Keep going Thomas - and keep developing. You are doing well.
Its nice Thomas. :) And I understand about your Waltz piece and I'm sure its fantastic, but do what you think is best, whatever happens we'll all hear it eventually, at least one day. Good luck getting it published!
Thomas, this is sooo pretty and dreamy! :) Beautiful composition and I love the title. So sweet. =) It seems to reflect how I am feeling right now too... hehe thanks for posting this, buddy! xxx
5* + fav for sure.
Take care! =)
P.S. Can't wait to hear your waltz, you know I love Chopin and Romantic music. ^_^
shooot, shooot, shoot, this does totally worths those 150 bucks, even more, and so, I've faved it and put 5 stars over it!!!! :D
it's wonderful, thomas, my GREATEST congrats for this... oh, and you say you're trying to publish another wonderful piece... I think you're getting totally PRO... so even more congrats!
Thanks:) Yeah, hope that I can post it soon! I do think that I will put most of my effort into classical music, its what gives me the greatest feeling :)
Congratulations all round - very beautiful piece and completing your first assignment (of what are sure to be many!). I look forward to your new work, sounds exciting. Well done again Thomas, I'm sure Ann-Marit will love it, she's very lucky to have this piece and the thought behind it.
Yeah, Its hard for me to keep the Waltz away from Youtube, but I really would like to get it published first :) I have used Many hours on the Waltz, and really feel that I managed to find the essence in what I want to be as a composer in the future through this piece. Not a single note is in that piece on accident :) Its a Romantic Era Waltz, not danceable but more a Chopin-Type-Piece! :) Again, thanks for the support :)) Means a lot!! :)
Great composition ...5***** Thanks for sharing !!! Aura
