  • So bad you recorded this video on an emulator, it can be noted on the different sound effects of the jump sound, I can tell the difference since I have tho original SNES cart.

  • best game ever

  • I remember, this game was damn hard. I mean really difficult.

Not only were the controls really annoying and slow, the level design was evil, too...

  • the music is so annoying

  • 7:19 hahaha Buster Bust is soo cute :))

  • and that my friends is what we call 1990'S 3D ACTION!!!! KICK ASS!!! 1:05

I remember playing this game ALL THE TIME when I was a kid.. LOVED THIS SOOO MUCH! Also, am I the only one who thinks that the tiny toons movie is one of the best things ever made??

  • lol i once remember playin dis game

  • i hated this stage

  • This game looks better but the Genesis version was so much more fun.

  • There was a Mega Drive version? o.O

  • Well it was a different game, called "Buster's Hidden Treasure", it was my favorite as a kid

  • Agreed. While The SNES Game Has More Onscreen Colors (256 Instead of 64), In My Opinion, The Genesis Game Was More Fun to Play Because it Had Over 30 Levels (Including Hidden Ones), Faster Action (Blast Processing Anyone?), and a More Developed Storyline / Plot.

Thankfully, Both Games Are a HUGE Improvement Over Most of Today's Cartoon-Based Video Games.

  • Aw, you don't destroy everything on the train.

  • Well, Spielberg did create both this and BTTF so the 88 thing makes sense.

  • THIS GAME OWNS but i never beat the space part

  • hahaha das spiel hatte ich früher auch :D ohh wie ich das geliebt hab :(((( will ich wieder haben

  • Wow that sucks... Why do they even give us the option of mapping out our control pad if it doesn't work on the normal level...

Also, even if you wanted to skip a level with the password device, it will only let you play the level on easy mode... Even when you go through the options menu and program it for normal mode, and then go into the password section to type in a code... That always ticked me off...

I still love the game though.

Thanks JudgeSpear2 for the info. ^_^

  • I guess stage two of Buster Busts Loose for the SNES makes up for the crappy NES version of Back to the Future...Eventhough, stage two of BBS SNES is kinda almost refurring to Back to the Future III.

    Also, I'm wondering...

I have this game, and everytime I play it on normal mode, the game freezes Buster right at the point where he's about to dash onto the engine. I'm wondering if that's a glitch or if that's supposed to happen...

Anyway, I could never beat it on normal mode for that reason.

  • This is a documented bug. It happens if you map your Dash to anything other than the R button. To avoid this problem, leave your control bindings at default.

  • I guess this guy won the bet ("WHAT DID I TELL YOU!! 88 MILES PER HOUR!!!") =P

    88 MPH FTW!! =D

  • lol what did i tell you 88 mph. the doc lol

  • lol I am guessing you added it that voice clip of the Doc. Still clever reference the developers put in.

  • "WHAT DID I TELL YOU!! 88 MILES PER HOUR!!!"

    Pure genius! XD

  • I love the 2nd part of the stage.

  • you should use this for MKF

  • I think that's why he posted.

  • Damn that game looks like fun...

  • It is. It was one of the first games I ever got for the SNES, and I miss it fondly now that my SNES broke. Stage 2 is epic.

  • Way to break the 4th wall, Buster and Plucky.

Also, that looks fun. A lot better then the Genesis version, which was basically a generic Sonic ripoff.

  • 88 MPH !!11!!!!!

  • EHEHEHEHEHEHEH! nice!

  • When I was little it was always the jumprope part that got me. Seriously.

I think we need a Buster Bunny skin for Sonic in MKF.

  • Now I want to play this game again :)

  • I love the show! I love the music in this game! I love the game itself! It was a great game when I was young and it is still a great game while looking back at it, thanks for bringing back a veiw of this game. The star wars level was my favorite, hard (while i was young) but still my favorite.

  • It's like someone unleashed a full power Nostalgia Cannon point blank into my face.

  • you should use some of the hazards in this game in MKF like the falling chandelliers

  • I know why Judgespear put this video up because I think a Train Stage is going to be in MK Fusion and it's going to be filled with Metal Slug Foes and the part where Buster runs up the mountain it's going to be a RUN part in the game.

  • Either that and/or he's showing the kind of platforming standard he wants for MKF. Pulling things from all sorts of platformers proves the awesomeness that will be MKF!

  • I remember playing this game... The football part was awesome... And the last few levels were amazing. The whole game was pretty awesome actually...

  • I really like both train music parts and the back to the future reference was pure gold.

  • Ah, memories.

    ^_^

  • Was this uploaded solely to make a Back to the Future joke?

  • Oh God, the memories, the memories...

  • BTTF ref was just ROFL

  • this was the first game on my SNES!, thanks man!! I really hated the part train but I managed to finish this game fair and square, man what a memories.

  • this game looks frustrating and horrible

  • Frustrating, yes; horrible, no. Maybe it was a little advanced for its target audience, but its controls were smooth and spot-on.

  • Aw I never played this one. I played the first on the NES. Platforming at some of its best, that's for sure. I wish someone would make another 2D platformer like this.

  • 3.50:SEIZURE!AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

    (Please stand by)

  • This stage was the reason I couldn't finish this game. The train part was too hard...

  • Ah, this takes me back...my favorite level was the one where you had to feed Dizzy until he got sick...

  • very nice graphics

  • buster breaks loose was always in the rotation of cartridges alone with megaman x2, the tick, Final Fight, and Power Rangers (the first one)

    the BTTF ref was priceless!

  • Tiny Toons - the mellowed out albeit adorable version of the Looney Tunes characters. This game actually looks exciting.

  • 88 MILES PER HOUR!!!!!

....but in all seriousness, I love Tiny Toons.

    ^-^

  • THis reminds me of animaniacs... only cooler.

  • Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid were all pretty great, if you ask me.

  • Somehow I always both loved and dreaded the train segment of that level.

  • Honestly, this was one of the best Tiny Toons games ever. My other favorites were Buster's Hidden Treasure for the Genesis and Babs' Big Break for the Gameboy. :D

  • I had this game, Hard as hell, then again, i was five

  • Did you want to get to 88 mph just so you could do that epic Back to the Future reference?

  • You need to get to 88 MPH to clear the level. I did not even pick up the reference when I first played this game in 1993.

  • I see, well the creators had a very odd sense of humor when making that requirement.

  • Hey, it was Tiny Toons, they did a lot of pop culture references.

  • How does making a reference to a movie constitute having an odd sense of humor?

  • Ah... now I want to break out my Snes to play this game :/

  • So cute:)

  • Holy crap i love this game XD

  • Oh those was the days.

  • 88 MILES PER HOUR!!!!!

  • LOL NICE

  • LOL Nice ending!

  • thats cute

  • ... I can't really say anything to this.

  • An entirely new video from JS, something that has never been done...

Either you wanted to bring back sweet memories to us, or you are foreshadowing...

  • ABE LINCOLN, almost forgot that

  • OMG OMG OMG, childhood memories just flooding back, hope you do the vampire level one, that's one i would say is the hardest, right next to the star wars level, which is the last one.

  • Goddamn, I remember this game, and apparently, I still have an original copy... ...somewhere.

  • Mine's sitting over with the rest of my games in plain site from where I'm sitting. For such a short game, it was quite good..

  • Wonder why you put this video up Judgespear though it is a good game

  • Gotta love that end. XD

  • Are you going to be making a train stage for Mushroom Kingdom Fusion?

  • where is level 1

  • What's that sound effect in the end?

Anyway, there oughta be Tiny Toons levels in Mushroom Kingdom Fusion!

  • that was from Back to the future(I swear i don't know which movie though)

  • @ Yoshiking2: The first. @ Morty340: Don't expect any levels from Tiny Toons games to appear. At least, not before they've been scoured clean of all references to the show.

  • ah the first one thanks for that

  • part three when they were in the old west (1885)

  • That last part was Hilarious

  • This stage made me cry... Thank you for putting it to rest. Now, if only I could find that dang cartridge!

  • What was that at the end?

  • An audio clip of Doc from Back to the Future.

  • Lol this game is hillarious, good run JS

  • Is there any game you don't excel at?

  • I loved this game, but I hated the train stage.

  • Join the club.

  • Is there a secret handshake?

T first I thought that Buster Bunny joined Mushroom Kingdom Fusion. I must download MKF.

I have a feeling that Spear could post a 5 minute video of a jar of mayonnaise and it would get 1000 views in an hour.

  • No, I meant that I, too, hate that stage.

  • Add one more member. The part that always got me was the collapsing bridge. I think I beat that stage only once. One thing I don't get is why the password system only worked for Easy mode; the abridged version that cuts out half of almost every level, all the boss battles and eliminates Level 5 entirely.
