  • that alarm is freeking sick

  • just wandering if u can help me, i have a novelty horn and want to wire it up to be wireless and have it off my second button on my central locking device...how do i go about doin this?

  • @dcv8z1

It depends on the your alarm system. Does it have an open channel?

  • @98snakeeater im not too sure, and im not really sure wat id need, apart from a transmitter and receiver?

  • @dcv8z1

I'm confused.... Do you want to connect it to your current alarm system key fob (remote) or do you want a separate system?

  • @98snakeeater i would like to have it on the key fob, but if thts too hard, would like it on a separate system

  • @dcv8z1

That depends on the system you have.....

Is it a factory alarm system?

If so, what model is your car?

  • @98snakeeater

91 ford laser kf, had the driver door locking and then i added the other three doors off that module...not sure if it'd b a factory alarm on it...

  • @dcv8z1

OK, sounds like you're abroad because we don't have those in the US.

How many buttons does your remote have?

Do you have to push a specific button more than once to unlock the other 3 doors (progressive locks)?

  • @98snakeeater

the remote has two buttons, only have to press it once to open all four doors (a short press of the button)

  • @dcv8z1

So one button locks and unlocks or does one lock and the other unlock?

  • @98snakeeater

one button locks and unlocks, the other has no function

  • @dcv8z1

OK, the other button is either a 2nd channel or a system setting button.

Do you happen to have the manual for the system?

  • @98snakeeater

unfortunately i dont have the manual, i got the car in 08 second hand, is there another way of doin it?

  • @dcv8z1

Well, if the other button is for a 2nd channel, it would be very simple.

However, if it's a system set button, you'll need to add a timed channel expander and it will work on a delay (press button quickly to either lock and unlock, hold button down to trigger horn)

Either way requires some probing of your system with a meter as all systems work differently.

Other than that, you can add a separate remote system for about $12 bucks.

  • @98snakeeater

oh ok cool, thanks for the help, sorry i couldnt be much help

  • @dcv8z1

    No problem

    Good luck with the install

  • 0:57 woosh !

  • hahaha i did the same on my fj i wanna do the same on my land cruiser too

  • Was the second horn the k3?

  • @asdgfrydshd

    Yes

  • fuck dude, that second horn at 0:57 is like a trains horn..... my god is freaking loud!!! insane bro.

  • next car thief that trys to steal your truck will shit his pants

  • Love this clip at 0:58 LOLOLOLOL i did the same with a 100W Siren, could not imagine with what you have LOLOL

  • lol...everytime i see this i want a k3, but i still think i'll go with the hb4h...does matt make any good deals??

  • @BlowoutBob

Yes, contact him directly and tell him I sent you

  • What was the song at the beginning?

  • holy fuck wouldn't wana try steal ur truck haha

  • I don't think anyone will be sticking around to lift your radio.

    Your neighbours must love you.

  • hahaha sooooooooo nice !!!

    LOL's !!!

What do you think about the Conductors special 540 and the 548... (better to go with the 548 ?) for an s-10 1999

Thx man and Thx because you respond your comments :) !!! (not like other...)

  • Love the videos snake. I have the hb4h in my. 05 maxima front grill face down. Was thinking about going with a k3la. Are they noticabley louder and carry enough bass to set off the car alarms like the hb4h. ? 1 2 and 4a bells correct on the k3

  • The K3 is definitely louder, but you can't really tell up close cause both are deafening.

Kinda like comparing a land mine and an atom bomb.

You won't know the difference up close.

However, from a distance, the K3 will carry much farther.

  • And yes, the bells on my K3HA are 1,2 and 4A

  • hey which one of these blasts is the HB4H?

  • The HB4H is on the Golf Cart (long blasts about 3 seconds)

The K3HA is on the Land Cruiser (short blasts with the alarm and lights)

  • alright thanks!!

i am thinking about getting the HB4H, whats your opionion of it, good or bad? is it worth it to get it?

  • The HB4H is the best bang for the buck.

Louder than any of the chrome garbage horns that sell on EBay and other sites.

Authentic train horns ar on another level, but you gotta pay to play.

  • how much was the K3HA

  • I picked it up a while back for $400 from a horn collector.

    Well worth every penny

  • im fixin to get one of these. haha i want one so bad!

  • would it fit uder a truck hood though?

  • Depends on the truck.

You might be able to fit it in front of the radiator like the K3 on the HB Crown Vic and Marauder

  • well i have a ram 1500.

plenty of room under the hood

but idk how big these are so i wasnt sure lol. could i possibly mount it in the bed somehow?

  • I dont remember a railroad track being anywhere near here...lol!

  • 98snakeeater,,,How many tickets have you recieved for any number of violations you can be written for? 407 s a NC area code. Are you on the cops list of enemies? Are your neighbors a bit pissed at you?

  • No tickets.

In fact, most of the cops in my area know me and ask to hear it everytime they pass by.

The neighbors want me to install them on their cars.

  • Well that is a good thing. I was reading a website for cops and most say they hate these horns due to safety reasons. They love to write tickets for using them. South Florida is a good place to get fined.

I have a set of P-5's and do not want to mount them for these reasons.

  • Everything is about "safety." Please. It's just another excuse to control you.

  • actually 407 is a FL area code

  • What was the music that was plalyin? Sounded good.

  • Bloody Rainbow Spiraling Sherbert Scoop by Buckethead

  • Very nice set-up on both vehicles, and also what is the song during the opening?

  • what you said? I don't hear e?

  • XD i dare u to go next to the train tracks with people around u and sound the horns to scare the shit of them

  • I work near the train yard and do it all the time when idiots in traffic stop on the tracks.

  • LMFAO! thats awesome. you gotta record that some time.

  • omg that would be great. please record that!

  • the thiefs will got a heart attack! LOLOLOL

  • this is great for anti-theft

  • cool well i will try it out next week when I am back in Hawaii and let you know how it worked out..thanks for all the tips

  • how did you hook up the wireless remote...I have a viper car alarm and want to use the extra auxiliary features to set off the horns..any suggestions

  • It's simple

Which Viper model do you have?

  • i have the Viper 7900 2 way alarm

  • You can use the ESP Flex channel on your 7900 and a standard relay or another unused pulse output and a DEI 528T timer relay to connect to your horn's main relay and adjust how long you want it to blast.

  • ok cool so if i am just running the horns to a toggle switch i can just tap in to that relay?

  • Yes

  • and a pulse output would be like a trunk release..i have an 06 tacoma so i dont have a trunk..would that output work?

  • Yes, but the pulse will be too fast for a horn (you'd be lucky to get a squeak), so you'd need a timer relay and adjust it for however long you wish.

  • sweet thanks a bunch...one last question do i have to have a relay and then a time delay relay? or can i just run the one time relay? and should that relays go to the ground wire on the horns?

  • Depends on which timer relay you use, but the 528T I suggested has a 15 amp limit.

If the accessory you're using exceeds that, you'll need to run an separate relay.

Regardless, I suggest using a separate relay for all accessories.

If your horns have a negative ground wire (common), then you connect the relay to the power trigger wire on the horns (or air solenoid)

  • look at this motha fucka,

    niceeeee.

  • hey bro whats up? well i have a train horn to install in my car i did everything but i dont know how to wire the relay switch and the preasure switch can you help me out?????????? thanx

  • Go to hornblastersDOTcom and click on "Help & Support"

They have a list of wiring diagrams to help you out...

  • omfg for sure u will here that wen someone messing up wit ur car even if its parked mies away! lol

  • omg thats loud baby yeah!!!!!

  • The, Nathan Airchime K3HA Connected to ur factory Alarm on ur Landcruiser is awesome.

  • What was the song at the beginning?

  • how the hell are you making that sound ?!?!

  • are yall in jacksonville fl

  • Orlando

  • That would be funny as hell. Set one of them golf carts up parked somewhere, & get a nice view somewhere, then BLOW THAT BITCH!!!

  • Search my vids for "Jamia gets Blasted"

  • Well...you won't ever have to worry about anyone trying to break into your car....that's for sure.

  • kick ass golf kart. that wold be fun to talk golfing and auck people up when they swing lol.

  • shoulda put a for sale sign on the car so when ppl came to look at it your could scare them on tape lol thatd be priceless

  • I've had the GolfCart up for sale in front of my shop for the past few months and do that everyday lol

  • FUCK NOOOO!!!

    OMG

  • nice k3 man, do you know where i can get a hold of a k5hll at a somewhat reasonable price? i have a p3 i got for $450 and i want something a little bigger.

  • Over the last year I've seen many K5H's go for $800 and up on Ebay, but K5HLL's are a bit harder to come by...

  • FUCK YEA!

  • Impressive set ups. I had a similiar idea using those cheap remote foglights @ walmart to activate the relays to the solenoids. Never did get around to it though.

  • Nice video! i want to know what kid of horns you are useing? where you get them and how much was it?

  • Thanx

The ones on the Golf Cart are HornBlaster HB4H (made by Buell)

The one on the Land Cruiser is a Nathan Airchime K3HA

PM me for details on price and source..

  • I have a Camaro but mine has 9 trumpet train horns, 200psi and a 5 gal. air tank. And it's 162db. You bought yours from hornblasters, I bought mine from someone that won't rip you off..hornblasters is expensive as hell but I got 9 train horns that are bigger than that, 5 gal. air tank, 200psi, 1/2inch air line, custom set-up, everything included for $612.

  • Plus it's a hell of a lot louder..lol

  • First off, what brand is it?

162db sounds like the usual EBay marketing hype.

The loudest "authentic" train horn currently in use will only hit 143db max and that's waaaay louder than any of the chrome China knock-offs that "claim" 152, 162, 175+, etc., etc.

If you want REAL train horns, make sure it's a Nathan, Leslie or Prime.

The wannabe train horns like Siege, Kong, Omega, etc., etc. just don't stack up.

As for hornblasters being a ripoff, you obiviously haven't dealt with Matt directly

  • It's not hornblasters and it's none of the labeled, the ones I got are from a man who's built horns all his life and that is his profession, I've beat leslie's and nathans before, they're minor compared to what I have. They sound whimpy lol. They're chrome yes, but I painted them and with a DB reader on 200psi they're 162db.

  • so where's the video of these all mighty horns?

Be sure to post up at hornwhistleboardDOTcom

  • I'll get some when I get a video camera LOL

You'll be impressed trust me..2-5 mile distance you can hear them.

  • video cameras do no justice to the actual sound of the horns.

same with DB readings. there is no official way to chart a DB rating on horns.

  • Yea that whole DB thing counts for nothing... 162 DB how far away???? Nathan puts 100 feet between their meter and horn! Just for reference, the K3 puts out 114.5 DB when the pressure is 100 PSI inside the horn from that 100 feet away \B)

  • what song is this?

  • "Bloody Rainbow Spiraling Sherbert Scoop" by Buckethead

  • great theft deterrant. can you imagine the look on a thief's face?

  • i got a wireless system for my truck off ebay. hooked up to my Nathan k3la only $20 controls up to 4 devices. and works up to 600 ft.

came in handy one day when i blue it for my friends while i was standing some distance away and a cop came up. I made sher to point him in the "right" direction.

  • Freakin genious! lol

  • lol thats the best thing ive ever see how did you wire that up to the train horn..

  • On the Land Cruiser, I just tied it into the factory alarm using a relay for the solenoid...

For the Monster Cart, I tore apart the remote controlled winch and hardwired it to a regular toggle switch (see my winch buddy video), then took the remaining receiver and wired it up to a relay which activates the solenoid...

  • thats alsom i just put a nathan k3la on my truck how menny psi are u running it at

  • 150psi

  • is this street legal? lmao. looks like something you'd see off of twisted metal

  • The Golf Cart?

nope, it's not street legal, but that doesn't stop me from driving all over orlando with it lol

  • you have to park it in a parking lot and every time someone goes past blast it

  • jesus i love it.

    lol

  • is that a k5?

  • Nope, K3HA (it's in the text)

  • my neibors alrm goes off every freakin night.. can i borrow this car and give him a taste of his own medicine?

  • rofl

  • road rage weapon #1 :P
