this is really sick!! why can't you fish with a rod?? I know they are an invasion in the america but hunting them down with a bow is just sick but that's my opinion about it.
I'm a Eu fisher and we fish with rods on carp and put them back then.
only to the weak hearted is this sick!! if we bowfishermen used rod-n-reel there would be no chance to slow the carp population they do hatch about 100-300 eggs a year if u love carp so much you must not car about the northern,muskie,bass and other game fish nest the carp destroy tearin up the bottom of lakes and rivers!!
@lawrence258 hey man, i understand where your coming from with thinking this is really bad, I'm from the U.S. and carp arnt native around here and they compete for food against all the native species (walleye, northern, perch) if i lived in EU i would deffinitly fish for carp with a pole, but around here we dont want them and shooting them is much more effective then catching them with a pole

@SupremeThunda23 I use an Oneida Osprey. It is the best all around bow for bowfishing in my opinion...and I have used a lot of bows in my day.
