- Make it PC playable. Xbox and PS3 have a long list of ridiculously awesome mech games to choose from, and the ONE mech game I've found for PC is hardly worth a 6/10. Is THAT hard to combine mouse aiming and mechs?

only way they are going to make games better is to get over the old system of programming them for x86 format (maxx of about 3 gig ram usage) and start making them x64, sorry to all the ppl out there still struggling on 32bit pc's but get with the time and get a 64bit system, cause soo many ppl still have 32 bit systems companies arent making games purely for 64bit! imagine a game that actually uses 8 to 12 gig of your 32 gig of ram!

The thing about mecha genre is to look futuristic and much more capable then modern military vehicles, If you were to put modern realistic weapons and leave CPGs and basically all sorts of energy weapons wouldn't feel right i think. Besides it basically comes down to this simple logic if fiction gives you the chance to make something that real life wouldn't probably allow, that's why mecha weapons are over the top because fiction allows it and so why not if it will make for better battles.

The third-person view does look mighty choppy, but from the other videos showing the first-person (what you'd actually see when you play) perspective, it looks very smooth, and almost fluid. Correct me if i am wrong, I believe that this game has been made with Unreal Development Kit, that is why they can achieve this wonderful result in 9 month.

For Indie studios or developers, i think that Game Engine is the future. Because you can focus more on developing your game rather that focusing on the technology behind it.
