Im a runner i generally around 7miles a day when im not training with my running club, i have always been able to run but it was only when i began to start eating healthy that i could run further without getting tired to a certain extent, my diet consists of pastas but i dont have anykind of sauce i only eat with it chicken fillets, yeah i eat other things such as full chickens throughout the day meaning cook morning eat during the day, other things you should eat are fish(Tuna)/energy foods,
@MsFlumf Second part to the message i wrote before, something i found good to do when i first started running is to run a distance as far as you can go without not being to get back to your starting point and do this for a few weeks then add more distance as you feel you can do more, another thing is to always stay focused you mind will tell yourself your tired but push past that and tell yourself you can go that bit further, p.s im 12 stone-6ft.4 and 18 if you were wondering,

if you want to get fit and involve running you should start of just running at the gym, then every morning go for a run, this will improve your fitness as running outside over hills and different terrain. also it will help your sleeping pattern loads and get you motivated as learning after exercise is proven to work. when you start of i would start at around a distance of 2 miles at your own pace, then increase the distance.
It takes years to get massive Paul, After your noob gains, which you already made, you only really gain a really small amount of muscle, comparable to a pencil eraser for each muscle group you work. If you do weight training, you'll be able to see when you get to the size you want before you get really gigantic.

@louismarkhudson but if you dont eat enough carbohydrates and go to the gym your body might eventually start burning your muscles, after it has produced lactic acid (assuming Paul isn't eating a lot of fat-food, because he wants to lose weight)
If all you want to do is lose weight, then you don't have to go to the gym. I mean, you can if you want to, but there's an easier way.
Move around more and eat a tad healthier. I know it sounds weird, but I'm serious. I used to walk a mile every night for about 6 months or so. When I got the munchies, I grabbed a NutriGrain or whatever we had in the pantry.
Increase movement + Decrease calorie intake = weight loss!
@homestar118 Lifting weights or running is the easiest way. Essentially.
You still have to eat properly and lower caloric intake, but weight lifting is the fastest way to lose weight. You will burn more calories when lifting than you will running, walking, w/e.
Paul, if you want to get back into shape, cardio exercises are the best thing for that. For toning, lift lower weights, and complete more repetitions. Maintain a good diet. Cut out all junk foods. High caloric foods aren't terrible for you if you can cut those calories off. Look for lean meats, green vegetables, fresh fruits. If you're gonna go for carbs, stay away from white breads, chocolates, candies, all are bad carbs. Potatoes, whole wheats, cereals are good carbs.
A good workout routine for what you are looking for would look something like this:
Start with a 10 minute stationary bike warm up. Running is good, but it's extremely hard on your body. Just to get the blood flowing, start with the bike. You can either do isolation exercises or body workouts. The difference is that one workout, you're doing your whole body and will most likely work a 5 day split. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) And isolation is 5 days in a row working different body parts each day.
Finish your workout with another work off cardio. Again, I recommend using the stationary bike. Start intense and slow down to a cool. Look for some Whey Protein mixtures with low calories for rebuilding. High calories for Mass gaining (which you don't want.) And make sure you eat healthy and don't cheat yourself. EAT protein and fruit bananas is best also for fitness do cardio workouts jump rope get a punching bag punch it play tapout with your friends another one that is really good is play basketball to get your heart race up. in basketball you sprint short distance and could help you a lot so thats my prospective im on the verge too

cross fit training is good, itll get you toned but it wont help you be able to run long distances. its more of a workout to lose weight and tone your body but also being able to endure a lot of explosive type movemement so that prolly wont be for you.
I know a technique that you might want to try for working out. It's called presses. All you do is lift a heavy weight for as long as you can with someone pushing down on the bar, and you hold it for 20 seconds. It works really well. And if you want to do chin-ups, just do the same thing and hold yourself above the bar. Hope this helps!
If u didn't know u should try this feed an animal wheat and they will fall in love then have a child and it will be easier to do things (warning dosent work with all animals) it works good with sheep,pigs,cows,and mushroom cows
If you dont want to get skinny but still train hard and be able to run longer, All you have to do is get a calorie surplus but remember if you run at an average pace eg. 10mins your going to burn 300 - 400 calories thats about 1 meal.
Eat 5-6 meals a day at around 500 calories. Train 3-4 times a week.
But the most important thing is you have to get the same amount or more calories that your body needs to remain at its weight. But you have to include the calories your going to be burning.
Paul, you said you might be starting a mods let's play so when you start that you could create a new world and then you could get the jungle biome? Just a suggestion!<3

cross fit training is good, itll get you toned but it wont help you be able to run long distances. its more of a workout to lose weight and tone your body but also being able to endure a lot of explosive type movemement so that prolly wont be for you.

I know a technique that you might want to try for working out. It's called presses. All you do is lift a heavy weight for as long as you can with someone pushing down on the bar, and you hold it for 20 seconds. It works really well. And if you want to do chin-ups, just do the same thing and hold yourself above the bar. Hope this helps!

If u didn't know u should try this feed an animal wheat and they will fall in love then have a child and it will be easier to do things (warning dosent work with all animals) it works good with sheep,pigs,cows,and mushroom cows

Paul, you should place pistons under the farm blocks, and when you want to harvest, just hit a lever and the crops will uproot.

If you dont want to get skinny but still train hard and be able to run longer, All you have to do is get a calorie surplus but remember if you run at an average pace eg. 10mins your going to burn 300 - 400 calories thats about 1 meal.
Eat 5-6 meals a day at around 500 calories. Train 3-4 times a week.
But the most important thing is you have to get the same amount or more calories that your body needs to remain at its weight. But you have to include the calories your going to be burning.
