Anywher eI can get ahold of the current tones+ While I don't like them as much as the new ones, I'd still like to know what stations have which tones.
Hi all, it's so wonderful how much this show is still loved. FYI- this Saturday July 9th, 10:00am - 4:00pm Station 127 will be celebrating the Emergency 51 Show with firefighting demos, apparatus displays, BBQ, Live Band and appearances by Mantooth and Stoker
@MsAutobodyman Thanks for the question. Yes, to the south of the station is a large BP refinery (it was originally owned by Arco). One could see it on shots of E51 and S51 leaving the station.
If you like the old tone-out "tones" of the old "Emergency", there is a website called Los County Fire.com (the UNOFFICIAL site of the LACFD), go to the site, browse the left column for "Dispatch Tones," and let your ears feast on the musical tones that once summoned the professional personnel of the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Sorry, there is no "Station 51" in the list. Just thought you'd like to know.
@TITANICBM Yeah, '51' is a relatively new station at Universal. The tones for 'Station 51' was Station 50, and the tones for 'Squad 51', the alternate set, was LA Station 22.
My Uncle took my brother and I there In the 1970's Off the 405 in Carson Ca. It was and I still believe to be a truck co,#127 with no paramedic unit like on Emergency, as kids we were mesmerized by this showing of this station as the fire dept. people there at the time were to nice to show us around, years later my brother met Randolph Mantooth at the Capital in Sacramento ca.Thank you for posting, KMG 365
@MrMegaFredzeppelin Thanks for the message. I'm glad you liked it. Yes, seeing Staion 51 in real life was a dream come true for me. This had been on my "bucket list" for a long time.

Hey Randy Mantooth, I'm ur biggest fan. Johnny Gage is a good firefighter/Paramedic.
I would like to meet you sometime at the Fort Wayne Fire Station 16. We are really busy
there. We have same tones just like station 51 has back in 70's I used to watch Emergency! all the time since i was little.
thanx
Andrew J.Hasty

@ColinFWheeler
Is it true that this actual firestation has no pole?
It's amazing that this show is essentially Dragnet for fire fighters.
The DeSoto actor appears with Johnny Depp in Gilbert Grape.

@billthecat666 Yes, there's no pole in the station ... it's a single story station
