Something to remember is that high wealth CO doesn't provide a lot of high wealth jobs. You'll need several times more CO high wealth jobs for every high wealth residential.

There's a bug in the game where industrial high tech doesn't provide any high wealth jobs.

These cities are incredibly ugly, what makes this game great is having a working city in they style you've described, but on piece of terrain that looks great. Building a huge money making city is easy if you don't care about how it looks. Cities in real life are beautiful because of their terrain, and winding or irregular streets. Straight grids are pretty boring unless they're on top of really hilly terrain.

@CelticReject I have played it and it is less complicated in a lot of way than simcity 4. However i would say that i still prefer simcity over Cities XL. Cities XL is not bad..get it price is prob low by now.

um does anyone know how to restore a city? i mean, i was playing a huge city, my computer froze, and when i forced quit and returned to my region, the city was a giant HOLE, like just nothing at ALL there. but wats wierd is that the population of my region stayed the same, even after the city disappeared. Go to Simtropolis/Sc4Devotion and create an account if you already haven't (I recomend both sites). Then look for NAM. It has a ton of stuff, and the round abouts you're looking for are in there. Be sure to read the read me and discriptions!

well the weird thing is my city has a very delecate un/employment.... just think of this situation : i have a city with 650000 sims on a big map complete with downtown suburbs and the layer inbetween but there are 3times as much jobs as there are sims and still people can't find jobs¿¿¿¿... my action destroy their houses for cemercial buildings it works nobody is jobless... guess what? somebody else gets jobless..... how the HELL???? (there are jobs for rich averige and poor sims)

Ok get this I have played this game for about 3 years and so has my little brother... recently he made a city with 200,000 sims but the strange thing is he has all of his sims take one large single lane road across the whole map with 34,000 drivers on it!!! could someone tell me if he found a glitch or just luck. BTW all of his houses say commute time is shot????????????????!!!!!!!!!!­!

The best i ever did with this game is cram 800 000 people into a medium block and have roughly 300 000 - 350 000 commercial jobs so i did have all the large scale office buildings, Lind entertainment. Cameron cameras. Van Proojen trading, hurt enterprise headquarters. Pedrianna pharmacuticals. Raymond plaza. and so on. oh! if you want to see where they got many of the designs for the game visit Frankfert Germany on google earth or google maps. alot of copied buildings...

My city always has jobs because it on super demand and i always keep my high tech industry, large commercial offices in the city and attract lot of high wealth xD and dirty industry at another neighbouring city so more and more jobs.

I Build a City has Over 100,000 people at the moment, Every thing is top tec, top residents ect... And my income is 900,000, and my loss is only 84,000, so each month I make like 826,000 dallers! My only problem is getting the trains/monorails to operate, Ohh and buses too. IF YOU HAVE A BIG CITY MAKE SURE IT ALL HAS WATER PEOPLE LIKE WATER!
