@qqsomething I don't want to disrespect Elvis because I like his music, and respect his contribution to music, but this generation does not share any sort of bond with him and they won't. It's similar to how you share no bond with the legends of 18th century classical music. Bieber isn't better than Elvis, in my opinion, but the overall opinion sways more towards Bieber than Elvis.
Time will slowly erode even bieber's legend, if he becomes one. Music will evolve, and idols will fade.
