Think Mulligan was great in the film. She really delivered it with subtle expressions on her face. Love her face. Even in small roles she always shines. Check out Bleak House (2005) and Sittaford Mystery (Marple) which stars Timothy Dalton as well.

Wonderful interpretation of Carey Mulligan.She played perfectly the role of an 16 year old innocent but intelligent girl. She is simply charming when she smiles and talks. In my opinion she deserved to win the Oscar a little bit more than Sandra Bullock.
