  • Diet is 99 % of a weight loss program, and what about the hubby??? That boy is porky as hell and needs a good plan before he has a heart attack or stoke.

  • @scorpio3200 Diet as in eat smaller portions but in conjunction with continuous exercise. Fact 99 % of people who diet only, put the weight back on within 12 months. It is not what you eat it is how you eat, same as for alcohol, not what you drink but how you drink.

  • Jeff needs to get some of his baby fat off too. Let him do some running each day . And cut down on his food.

  • Just a little reminder(in case you don't know this already): Smaller weights+more repetitions = more toned.

    If you use bigger weight sets for your exercises, you're just going to get more of a large, "manly" build.

  • When you're doing chest exercises you have to chant:

    "We must! We must! We must increase our bust!

    The bigger the better, the tighter the sweater, the boys depend on us!"

  • Just to let you know being tall and thin A friend of mine is like that her lung collapsed due to her smoking. According to her dr. its not uncommon for tall thin smokers lungs to collapse

  • Not sure what kind of health problems you had but I can tell you, GET THE TOTAL GYM!! You know the one Chuck Norris trains with. I've had 2 back surgeries and can only do limited free weights but the total gym I have you can add free weights to it. Its easy and fun to do, and you won't get board either.

  • just advise um at 2:00 when your doing your hammer curls slow down put your biceps straight down and stop swining your back you'll hurt your back and your only getting about 20% of your workout like that

  • @shouldibehere i dont really even use weights alot i do but i prefer using my body weight and the town park but just to lose weight not to get ripped weights are fine but yeah she needs work i had to train a friend of mine he did same thing i had him lay down on the ground then curl it then move to standing with his back on the wall then to free standing and also she needs breathing control

  • @jgmtiger She's just inexperienced at weight training. Heather...do a little reading (or video watching) if you are going to keep up with the weights. It is WAY too easy to tear a muscle or tendon if you lift incorrectly.  Also, you will get a lot more benefit if you pay more attention to your form and not worry too much about how many plates you load on the bar.

  • biking,kick boxing is also good burns sooooooo good. (Thigh Muscles) are humans biggest muscle and burn the most calories of any 1 muscle so yeah work those legs and abs.

  • I would recommend seeking help from a trainer or a friend who has been doing weight training to teach you the ideal(read: safe) form to lift weights.

    For instance 02:25 you're risking impingement in the shoulder. Remember more Range Of Motion is not always better.

  • Support your elbows when doing curls for more effective work outs, and decrease the amount of weight and do more repetitions for toning. Heavier weights are for building muscle mass, and muscle weighs more than fat, so you will not see a marked decrease in the weight the way you are lifting. Keep up the good work, and keep the videos coming.

  • Wow! A woman that actually follows through with a workout plan.

  • Just don't get into lifting weights that are too heavy. The strain raises blood pressure that is not good for arteries in the brain. More reps with lower weights will give you the weight loss and toning you want.
