    " State Economy a Winner from University of Utah’s PAC-12 Move "

  • All we need to prove is. 54-10

  • Comment removed

  • Yea. They did. Name one major step taken against the BCS before the U came out, went undefeated, and dominated Pitt. Then in 2009, when Alabama was supposed to just tear us a new one, we went in and humiliated them. First drive, 5 plays. TD. One of the most dominating BCS performances in history. And if your ten win teams still lose to a team that can't beat Colorado, that says a lot about your team's shittiness overall, and intentionally weak scheduling. And yes, winning in the Pac-12. Top Half

  • burtons still unblocked, hall just threw another pick and harline still has no job

  • obvious Zoobie troll is obvious...

  • here is the direct quote from Scout.com for Tanner Mangum:

2012 Scout.com HS Football Rankings (full list):

Pos: QB Pos Rank: #15 Pos

you see, a #15 quarterback IS NOT the same a a #1 QB.

not that it matters: the Boogars will probably mishandle Mangum just as badly as they mishandled Heaps ( not to mention Brandon Davies from the B-ball team...LOL !)

  • as a member of the Pac-12 the Utes will have direct access to the Southen California recruiting market.

  • @theSTAR70 I know as a recruit I wouldn't want to go to a team that can't beat Colorado at home. Just because you can pin up that Pac-12 symbol on your jersey doesn't make you worthy of it. Yep, the future looks bright for the utes, with season openers on KJazz and losses to your new "rival" Colorado!

  • @theradadmiral94

Delshawn McClellon and Travis Wilson, both from the SoCal region, have already committed verbally to The U; in the future, Pac-12 membership will continue to attract recruits who otherwise probably wouldn't have played in the Beehive State.

    +1 Utes

  • @theradadmiral94 Travis Wilson is a good quarterback, but he is only a verbal commit and only a Junior. Delshawn McClellon is a 5'6" receiver ranked 150th of his class, hardly a name worth mentioning. BYU can get better recruits, because they are getting national exposure and rank being on ESPN EIGHT TIMES! (Info from Scout.com)

  • @theradadmiral94

Over time, the U will get more exposure, recruits AND revenues when the Pac-12 Network comes online.

    Utes +3

  • @theSTAR70 So what you are saying is that in the future you will be on par with BYU, who on ESPN got over $1,000,000 on average per game! And although the Pac-12 network will be a big interest point for recruits, why would they choose Utah over teams like USC and Stanford Maybe if you had a decent quarterback, besides mediocre Hays, and Wynn who may never play a down again. (Would you mind explaining to all of our readers just what you mean by Utes +3?)

  • @theradadmiral94

    1) the ESPN deal is for home games only

    2) ESPN is "basic programming" which leads us to...

    3) the Pac-12 Network will most likely be a premium channel which means there will be a subscriber fee. Los Angeles County alone has about 10 million residents, and with all those UCLA and USC folks paying premiums to get the Pac-12 Net, the U will be getting a cut of all the action through their revenue sharing contract, which applies to ALL sports, not strictly football (con'td)

  • @theSTAR70 1) If you knew anything about the season, you would realize that there were several away games on ESPN, including TCU, Ole Miss, and Texas.

    3) In Los Angeles County there are 3 million households, maybe a third of which will pay the premium. And with twelve teams taking a slice of the Pie, the Utes will not be making a huge amount.

    4) Just because some guys leave does not shadow the historical program of Stanford. Who has claimed two national titles, and have a record over .500.

  • @theradadmiral94

    4) Why choose Utah over Stanford or USC ? a)Stanford"s Harbaugh, who resurrected the program, has left for the NFL, and his prize pupils, Luck will be there next year, to join Gerhart, so the program may be in flux; b) USC is an awesome university with an awesome football program, but it is located in an extremely messed up hell-hole of an area. Parents may not want to send their kids to such a place

    UTES +7

  • @theSTAR70

4b) LA has less crime than Salt Lake according to the FBI's Crime Rates. Do your research Buddy!

    UTES...(What comes after 7?)

  • @theradadmiral94

Here's some research : in 1991, while on the practice field preparing for their game against Arizona, the starting middle linebacker for USC got hit by a stray bullet that came from a shootout near campus between two rival gangs; obviously he would be out for the remainder of the season(Funny how none of The Utes has ever been shot during practice). If you don't believe this about the lousy area surrounding USC, try walking the neighborhood after dark. (CON'D)

  • @theSTAR70 Why would I have reason to doubt it? That doesn't make the Utes more appealing! (Think back to Trolley Square.) And I would like to ask why we're discussing shootings rather than football?

  • @theradadmiral94

because you brought it up (FBI crime stats)

  • @theSTAR70 To only counter your comment.

  • @theradadmiral94

    ... and you have failed

  • @theSTAR70 Getting BACK to football, the Utes still have the major quarterback problem that is going to simmer through all of this year. Ute nation is worried.

  • Comment removed

  • @theSTAR70 That kid isn't even a cougar, and since when did landing the top recruit in the country become a problem? That philosophy of Kyle is to recruit mediocre juco's and hope they turn out ok. Good luck with John Hays!

  • @theradadmiral94

the problem is that you seriously mishandled the whole Jake Heaps debaucle !!! You'll NEVER get another #1 QB again !!!

    LOL !!!

  • @theSTAR70 So Jake didn't become all that he could have. That has more to do with the player than anything, and he got plenty of opprotunities. "Never get another #1 QB?" ever heard the name Tanner Mangum? Or are the ears of Ute nation tuned only to a head coach who can't find anyone willing to be the offensive coordinator? Oh wait, I hear Gary Crowton is in the mix. Good luck Utes!

  • @theradadmiral94 Okay. I read most of your little argument. Here's a few things I'm not sure you understand. The U has literally reshaped college football in the past decade. That's the reason we're in a good conference, and win in a good conference. Also, yeah, most of our recruits are 2-3 stars. That means, Utah is a program that makes the decent BCS winners and NFL starters, BYU takes 5 stars and makes them Kansas transfers and Cardinals 3rd string QB's. 54-10. BYU is an inferior team/school

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 THE U HAS LITERALLY RESHAPED COLLEGE FOOTBALL!?!? That is obviously the most biased and brash statement ever made. What have the Utes done that any other team hasn't? "Win in a good conference..." Wait, you mean losing to Colorado at home doesn't count. BYU is definitley inferior, I'll give you that. I mean six seasons in a row with 10+ wins. That is pretty bad, what can I say.

  • @theradadmiral94 Here's some of the gems you've played in those 6 seasons. Northern Iowa, Eastern Washington, UTEP, New Mexico State, and Idaho. Congrats. Refer to my above comment as well as both the other replies I'm posting.

  • @theradadmiral94 Alright, historical context for both programs. NFL starters: BYU: 11, Utah: 24. BCS wins: 2-0 Utah. Bowl game win percentage: Utah: 75, BYU: 38. Utah has won 7 of the last ten Holy Wars, and 60% overall. Utah has 3 more conference championships. Undefeated seasons: BYU:1, Utah: 8. Utah also has more bowl wins and wins vs. ranked teams. BYU's 1984 team did not beat a single ranked opponent. Their championship opponent was 6-6. We've also had more NFL players drafted.

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 At least we beat all those teams you mentioned. Don't bring them up without being willing to take it yourself. Oh wait, you didn't beat Colorado. Oh that's too bad. Talking bowls, BYU has been to 11 more bowl games than Utah and BYU's percentage is actually 43 in favor of wins. A few good seasons mean nothing if there is no consistency.

  • @theradadmiral94 We didnt beat Colorado. With our starting QB and RB out. Congrats. And no, they've won 38%. And your statistic isn't even coherently stated. And speaking of consistency, Utah has won 7 of our last 8 bowls. How's that for consistent? When was our last losing season? And Utah beat UCLA, Oregon State, Washington State, and Arizona. Not to mention you literally ignored everything else I said. Congratulations, you're a true cougar. Ignorant and a loser. 54-10.

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 I commented to have a good debate, not to be called an ignorant loser. I don't need to prove anything about consistency, Utah and BYU have both been great under their current head coaches. Good-bye comment board and bolingfornirvana182, Go ahead and keep feeling like you have to prove yourself. (BTW, BYU has been to 30 bowls and won 13, =42.667%)

  • @bowlingfornirvana182

that's right !!! according to the College Football Matrix, The U is #1 in producing NFL draftees... the Zoobs are #47... youtube won't allow me to post the link, so go to Google and enter the exact phrase in quotes: "In fact, of the top 25 of producing NFL draft picks from 2005-2011, all but 4 were in the top 25 for recruiting."

it should take you to the article

  • @theSTAR70 Teamwork FTW. *internet five*

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 here is another article from College Football Matrix: "The Utah Utes continue their hot streak since moving to the PAC12. Two years and the two best classes in team history. Whittingham can really coach and the PAC12 South, outside of a sanctioned USC and the systemic issues at UCLA is wide open for Utah."

i hope you stock up on sunscreen, 'cuz Pasadena can get really sunny and hot on New Year's Day !!!

  • @theradadmiral94

UTES + $20 MILLION (for the Pac-12 revenue coming in beginning 2014)

  • @theSTAR70 I scoured Google for an article matching your info with no luck. So either cite your sources or tell the facts.

  • This video sucks go byu

  • so are you gonna make a video from the Colorado game???

  • Poor Ute fans. Have to make a video about BYU because they have no life.

The difference between a BYU fan and a Ute fan is the BYU fan doesn't put that much effort into the rivalry because we mostly just care about our team. I guess you can say that Ute fans are pretty much haters and BYU fans are lovers. LOL

  • @bkpadilla Huh? There are plenty of BYU fans that hate Utah...and the biggest hater...what's his name? Oh right...I am not even going to repeat his name because it's so obvious.

  • this vid is funny All BYU fans are soft-skinned and need to chill, and have a beer or in your case a vegetable juice!!!!

  • @MrGeneBS mom: hey sweety how was the game yesterday

ute fan: i was at a game?????

    mom: yeah?? duh?/

friend: haha he was so drunk, he doesnt even care about the utes, or the sport just beer! (classic ute)

  • @snowboarderboy9 i know all of the gay ute fans are talking trash when the cant even when another pac 12 team they are losers!

  • @0goofygoober Learn how to spell bud :)

    GO UTES

  • Screw off faggot

  • So dumb

  • 54-10

  • utah fans have no class and are a bunch of asses

  • @insiderjokevids

I guess your comment is the mark of a fan with with class?

  • @thekalbear01 yea i do have class! im polite! im respected! i dont suck a fat dick like you! ;)

  • F&#K the MORMONS!!! Go Utes!!!

  • @jiker66 The perfect definition of classy Utah.

  • Utes 0-3 in the pac 12

  • UTAH-54

    BYU-10

  • 54 -10

  • @ezimik I'm 12 douche bag

  • BYU got Jimmered!

  • @U0537150 Tell that to the 12 losing seasons the U has had since BYU's national championship. I never said anything about BYU being better. My point is that statistics tell you what you want. In the end both teams stink on the national stage and are irrelevant. The rivalry usually comes down to a play or two unless Crowton's your head coach. Those plays can easily go either way. Last year it was the falsely ruled fumble, but even still BYU had a shot until Utah managed to block a FG to win.

  • @eiznemk honestly u just whining cause not only is utah a bcs school quit whining and go f urself GO UTES!!!!!!

  • @coltsz98 How's that Ute education working out for you? Will you please learn to be coherent?

  • @U0537150 You forget that getting to bowls requires a winning record. BYUs 20 versus Utah's 14 tells me BYU has consistently had better teams since 1984. The fact Utah has only gotten to bowl games 17 times total tells me a lot about that program over time. If you're going to use statistics, you should educate yourself on how to use them to your advantage. Saying that UTEP was terrible isn't a valid argument in and of itself. Again, BYU's undefeated since Utah's last BCS win. Utah's 1-1.

  • the voice and the ryhme scheme are captivating

  • @U0537150 More impressive going to bowl games 20 times since 1984 compared to Utah's 17 total all time bowl games in 90+ years! BYU owns Utah in that department. Sorry. Your argument would have been impressive had you simply said: "BYU has a 40% winning pct in bowl games since 1984 compared to Utah's amazing 71%". But I probably would have countered with a similar argument as your original one: What have you done since the last BCS win? Gone 1-1 in bowl games (BYU is undefeated); impressive.

  • Go uthards!!!!!!

  • Jarrrred. i still have the CD you gave me of the first byu sucks song. matt

  • When people make crap like this it only gives the fans of their teams a bad name. If I were a Ute fan I'd be almost as embarrassed to call this guy one of my own as I was when Max Hall showed his back side in the post-game press conference. Talking up your own team is one thing. Making personal attacks, that have nothing to do with football, is childish.

  • @hokisama Speaking of bad names....how about them Cougs! and Heaps! and (fill in the blank with any BYU player)! They looked real good Saturday!

  • @utesred13 Thank you Utard13 for so perfectly exemplifying the type of bush league fan I was trying to point out. You're living proof that some people can be poor sports even in landslide victory. Utah destroyed the Cougars. No doubt about it. Maybe you could act like they've been there before. If you really think that your team is the better team then why would you act like it's front page news when they win?

  • @hokisama Any fan of a team in a heated rivalry like this is going to talk big trash after such a big fan, especially when the other teams fans are as arrogant and stubborn as byu fans

  • I'm a BYU super fan haha.I say that we all get over our differences. BCS bowl game wins are impressive. BYU, being in the MWC at the time, compensated and got money from that. BYU does have a national championship, and if Ute fans say it doesn't count, Kyle Whittingham will beg to differ. He was on the team haha. A PAC-12 invitation is also impressive. And a ESPN contract is pretty impressive too. What I'm saying is that both programs are impressive in their own ways. Can't wait for September 1

  • @rykdog54 BYU's national championship game was a game against the Michigan Wolverines (6-5-0). I would be real proud of that one...

  • @utesred13 BYU beat #3 Pitt earlier in the year.

  • @utesred13 At least BYU has a national championship in football. I'd take that over a BCS game any day.

  • Comment removed

  • @pimpyxbox Yep, 27 years ago... and it's still a national championship that Utah lacks. Have fun living in the shadow along with your inability to create a valid argument. Resorting to name calling only creates comments that never get posted and an admission that you lack tangible intelligence. You must have attended the U, right?

  • @Deltarocks1 Saying BCS wins are crappy is saying BYU is worse than crappy. And if this guy's such a loser, why are you wasting your valuable, well educated, morally chest beating time on his content? Why not quality entertainment

    Like this: /watch?v=4-v4cNSdEqo&list=PLF87F2D1F72367F68&index=4

    OR THIS

    /watch?v=Frg0AjUkp1Y&feature=BFa&list=PLF87F2D1F72367F68&index=2

And yes. BYU might kick ass independently. San Jose State's ass however.

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 Oh I am not saying they are crappy. I am just saying that I dont understand why you Utah fans cant get over the past. And all you do is bring up your BCS bowls. Your last one was three years. And also get over this whole Max Hall thing geese.

  • @bowlingfornirvana182 BCS wins aren't crappy. They're just crappy, no matter the number, compared to having a national championship (and they're all in the past, so no argument there; and your talk of BYUs final 1984 game as a national champ game shows your ignorance). At least now that Utah's in the PAC-12, there won't be any excuse as to why they will never see a national championship. I'm thinking Utah has about as good a shot at a BCS game as BYU year in and year out! That chance is NONE.

  • Okay, first on BYU fans saying we're living in the past, quit setting yourselves up. We're talking about two games in 2005 and 2009. Last time I checked, your claim to fame was a 1984 National Championship where you played a 6-6 Michigan team. Utah played two heavily favored teams that we came out and wrecked. You beat MU by 7. All time bowl records. Utah: 12-4. BYU: 11-17. BCS bowls Utah: 2. BYU: 0. Current NFL starters: Utah: 13 BYU: 6. Rank among world colleges: Utah: 129 BYU: Unranked. WIN.

  • LOL – nothing like a commuter school trying to act big.

  • @mckinngk A Pac-12 commuter school...

  • @jinx5500 What is this fascination with "commuter" status of the U among BYU fans?

  • @jinx5500 scoreboard! cunty mc-independent irrelevant twat

  • didn't Hall go 2-1 against the Utes?

  • @yballa09

Didn't Hall get his ass kicked in the NFL? And didn't he fail to win a BCS bowl?

  • @utahgs Yes. Hall did not do too well starting as a rookie free agent. I imagine Brian Johnson would have done so much better in that situation...

  • @utahgs Hall reminds me of that Smith guy, only he's like a cat with 9 lives. Better yet, it's like groundhog day in San Francisco every season; same terrible starter. Yes, valid point about Hall not making it in the NFL. But then again Hall went undrafted, so not much was ever expected (unlike what we expect from #1 overall). Smith and Hall = FAIL. But Smith = WIN in the money department (and fail virtually everywhere else).

  • Ute

  • Shows the type of class ute fans have. Great job keep it comin. We all know ite fans are insecure! Byu fans are proud even when our team isn't doing good!!

  • @poopypanda44 I'm glad you're proud of SOMETHING. Because your grammar and spelling surely aren't things to write home about. And what do Ute fans have to be insecure about? We are Ute fans, what more is there to say? So get your garments out of a bunch, relax, and come on over to Rice-Eccles and cheer on a quality team with some quality people.

  • @FutureMiddy uhhh... i have a lot more to be proud of than you do!!!!!!!!!! and sorry my ipod does that sometimes!! abd id rather die than cheer for the utes!

  • Go Irish! Beat Utes! 28-3! And welcome to Independence, BYU! We'll enjoy stepping on your necks for the next few years!

  • Oh P1 Jared love it... Waiting on the next song...

  • Another thing created by a Ute fan about the Utes! Wait... uh... no...

    It's about BYU... again.

The only thing that keeps the little brother syndrome going is Ute fans themselves.

Bring this stuff on. It shows exactly where you stand when you actually talk more about that other team than your own team.

It all sums up in one phrase for Ute fans... u mad bro?

  • @FierceArc Too bad there isnt anything to be mad about

  • utah sucks

  • Remember zoobies, Independence = playing with yourself.

  • ya and who won a national who? who? BYU utah sucks

  • UTES ARE RETARDED..FUCKING UTAHNS!!! WEIRD !!! GO FIGHTING IRISH!!!

  • @AHOEITU01 fuck Notre Dame!!!!

  • Whatever dude his movie is so awesome

  • blah blah blah....... UTE-R-US...... I bet everyone on the football team is studying to be a registered nurse.

  • Freaking Funny

  • Someone that can only run at 1 mph could intercept a Max Hall pass!

  • GO UTES!!!!!!!

  • Can i get a HELL YEAH!!

    {{ GO UTES }}

Provo State can SUCK IT EASY!

  • Go Utes!

  • Love this

  • As I was typing this comment I intercepted another Max Hall pass!

  • Let the smack talk begin!!!

  • @JAZZandUTEman its DICKS LIKE YOU THAT MAKE PEOPLE HATE UTES!

  • @DMAN7587, Come on man..........he's just having fun with the rivalry.............don't take it so seriously. And it's people like you that ruin the fun in college rivalries.

  • @JAZZandUTEman I do have to agree with nicdawg14. You are a loser. Utah has nothing on BYU. Lets see Utah win a national title. You can brag all you want to about your crappy BCS wins but if you are going to live in the past like all you retarded Utah fans do BYU has a title under their belt beat that sucker. Utah will never get that chance even in the Pac-12 because they are over rated and are going to get smoked in the Pac-12. And I cant wait to watch that happen while BYU kicks a**.
