I heard stories from my buds in the Army, they were about to zip tie some insurgent in a building that had been shot by an Abrams, because there were 3 soldiers who'd been wounded in the building occupied by 4 or 5 insurgents. Upon approaching the dead man, he rolled a grenade at a reporter, the soldiers pulled him out of the way, and lit that bitchass up. And I laughed my ass off when he said " He sure as dead now."!

The point of his job is to educate people as to what is going on in the rest of the world at any time. What people do as a result of that info is up to them... if you see its other peoples suffering then you will be one of the people that go out and try to help them... if you see it as just the evening news then you wont do anything about it... its pretty simple and straight forward i think.

Very true. If this guy is such a hero, why didn't he say something at the time? I didn't hear him say "Hey, perhaps we should get this man to a hospital," or "why did you shoot him?" Everyone can become a critic, especially a reporter who realizes he has a potential story. I don't blame him for doing his job, but he is nothing special.

What I find interesting about this comment is that the US was attacked once, and this suddenly gave them the right to totally decimate the country where the attack originated.
