Kobe actually learn dunks from other great dunker, MJ's, VC's dunks, or between the legs from Isiah Rider.

The main difference with mj and Kobe in terms of dunking is that Jordan was far quicker and had bigger hands. That's why Jordan looked so much more fluid than Kobe in general. It's one thing to argue Jordan is G.O.A.T - totally different thing to refuse to acknowledge Kobe's greatness and the similarities between both players. Sure, Kobe will never achieve all the things M.J did, but Michael never scored 81 pts in a single game as well. In my opinion, MJ ranks 1st and Kobe probably 5-7th in greatest all time. Nowadays there are several players in the league that would be able to keep up with MJs athletically speaking and give him a much tougher challenge on D. Saying defense was better back then is the first/best sign that you have NO knowledge of 80's/90's ball. If u actually watched jordan play or even go back and watch at least 20 or so games of his which arent hard to find, u can see how many more wide open shots and uncontested drives to the hoop he gets compared to KB whos almost always doubled

Ok first of all, Michael Jordan to me is the best ever.
Second he is the standard when "Greatness" in basketball is being measured.
Other players are always being compared to MJ when it comes to greatness and NOT the other way around.
And to --> movalcadillac <-- you must be "out of your mind" to put MJ's name with LeBron. LeBron is a disgrace at the moment.

Kobe is a better dunker, here's why: MJ= ferocious dunker because of 2 key things; amazing hops and huge hands, those are God given attributes, give those to Kobe and he scores 60 points a fucking game. MJ just palms the ball and dunks over people. Kobe fucking gets triple teamed and dunks with smaller hands after triple pump faking which is sumthin MJ only did in contests. Kobe much more athletic and basketball savvy, MJ is just a freak like LeBron. Kobe will be number 3 on points 4 career

the dunk Kobe did at number 1 is a dunk i always point out cuz Jordan didnt ever display that type of athleticism....ever.... nor has James.....i think Kobe is more athletic than MJ was,but Jordan seemed to dunk on heads more often...and savagely...

im a huge kobe fan, as you can tell by my name on here even , but ya jordan is hands down the greatest player to play, kobe has maybe a better overall shot then jordan did but jordan never lost when it came down to it and he jus knew who to fly above and dominate anyone who tried to stop him

great vid. why cant people appreciate the greatness of BOTH players instead of bickering? of course jordan was better, but kobe is the closest we have seen. it makes me sick that for most of kobes career people have spent it bickering saying jordan is better, instead of enjoying the GREATNESS of kobe and what he has done. MJ is the best to ever play, but people need to appreciate kobe and what he has done in THIS era instead of living in the 90s. because we wont see another kobe anytime soon.

kobe fanboy, u grew up watching kobe played, i can understand that. Kobe is a great player.
however, kobe is not a great leader. He is close to MJ, but he will never get there. After 30 years, ppl would still say MJ is the best, and u would still have to argue with that statement.
After 30 years, "By acclamation, Michael Jordan is [STILL] the greatest basketball player of all time." Let see if ppl would say kobe is the GREATEST of all time after he retired.

@TRISTON93 what are u talking about...? i grew up watching them both and kobe had to do much more adjusting to win titles than jordan did hence the percentage differences.. yeah by acclamation hes better but awards like mvp awards are given to them by the media and the media loved jordan much more than kobe i mean lets be honest nash and lebron are great players but its hard for me to believe that theyre more valuable than bryant.. but the east wasnt as competitive as the west in the 90's
