Twilight made serious bank on the first movie. I heard on interviews they kept shootng the cheapest ways to shoot certian scenes. and it worked. no one know the difference the money made from the first film, i predict, will make the second movie even better. and in the long run this si how movies keep getting better and better.

First of all these are very good choices for Twilight but you guys have to keep in mind that they were on a budget and some of the celebs you mentioned here like Shia and Amanda Bynes and alot more they are always leading characters so what makes you think they would play supporting in a low budget movie that at the time was basically nothing. And they all have made hit blockbuster movies....they don't need this and so i think Stephanie did all of the characters perfect xcept 4 alice and rosalin

TO ALL THE CAST HATERS: sorry can't agree... I love all the actors of the cast, and Robert was the only one i really "knew" and that was because of his role in HP... I think they are all very much like their roles and VERY cabable to do the job effectivly (also beyond) don't judge them until you've seen the movie..? peace out ;)

Not to be rude, but this was made before any casting was announced. I do not hate any of the cast. I disagree with some, but I think I can live with it. Rob and Kristen were definitely great choices for Edward and Bella. Actually Rob was going to be in the video for Edward when I first made it, unfortunately, I couldn't find any good pics of him.

if christian bale or cillian murphy were in this movie, i would murder everyone involved with this crappy movie. dont get me wrong, i somewhat enjoyed this book, but the director is terrible and the book was written by someone who doesnt know how to write. i guess it IS a teenager book but if anne hathaway or any well-known, talented actor/ress were in this, I guarantee it would ruin their career and Im pretty sure theyd turn it down. and thinking fans can cast is retarded.

Besides, the movie is already out, it made a KILLING and it's fans have been appeased. Be happy. But I really don't see how my opinion should even be looked at now that it is out. they should have let us fans do the casting for twilight! (we would have done a better job) but it would be hard to cast cillian murphy as james because james dies (same deal with christian bale but he would make an awesome carlisle!) the fools who made the movie couldn't do good casting to save their life "let's cast cedric digoree (sorry if i spelled that wrong) as edward" when did he fall into the category of sexy?

Laura Vandervoort makes a great rosalie, Ben Foster for jasper, James McAvoy for laurent, Christian Bale for james, definitely amy adams for victoria, i love the idea of tom sellic for charlie but it might make him seem out of place...since he's so well known...idk, anyways alexis bledel for angela, and megan fox for jessica.....did you forget jacob on purpose?

Actually, I did leave out Jacob for a reason. He is one of those people who I can't really picture in my mind, so I generally let other people decide who their Jacob is. I REALLY would love Steven Strait to be him... but he's way o for it. grrr. All that beauty gone to watse... at least in a Twilight scenario.

Finally a video with the real cast.I will start by giving them the benifit of the dought. No matter what this movie isn't going to be anything like what we are all expecting. The movies are never as good as the books. They can't get the cast to match the all readers imaginations. I do think they could have gotten a little closer though. Maybe if they gave a rats ass about what we think they might have noticed we have all pritty much agreed on a certain bella.
